Prevenge is a semi-hardcore raiding guild located on the Laughing Skull/Cho’gall/Auchindoun connected realms

Prevenge was founded during Burning Crusade as a friends and family guild focused primarily on dungeons and 10-man raiding. The raid, in its current form, started during Tier 11 (Cataclysm) as a casual 10-man group. During Mists of Pandaria, the guild experienced explosive growth and sustained two 10-man raid groups in addition to a separate 25-man raid group. More about the guild: We do it all, we aren’t just raiders. We are extremely active guild, the most active on the server, and more active than most servers/guilds. Goals and Expectations : Since its formation, we have strived to improve our roster in whatever way we can. We have our sights set on the Cutting Edge achievement for 8.1 and beyond. We still do consider ourselves ‘semi-casual’ and intend to keep our atmosphere relaxed. In order to achieve our goals, we ask each of our raiders to invest time outside of raid looking at the upcoming fights in detail as well as staying on top of the leading builds for each individuals spec.

We’re looking for EXCEPTIONAL raiders who know how to min-max and pump the numbers while doing the mechanics. Come prepared, show up on time, and be ready to pwn. If you can’t maintain at least an 80% attendance and commit to the progression efforts, this guild probably isn’t right for you.

Have your logs ready when inquiring. We want to see at least a minimum of 80+ purple parses on heroic.

Background : Greasy was originally established on Bleeding Hollow by a group of 6 friends that had transferred off of the server cluster of Nesingwary/Vek’nilash/Nazgrel from the Alliance side. After dragging through content at a much slower pace than they preferred, they decided it was time for a change and transferred to create their own guild. Despite the difficulty of the raid tier, as well as quite literally building a guild from scratch, they were able to put together a roster solid enough to kill Mythic Aggramar(US777th) prior to the release of the Battle for Azeroth expansion. Following the release of the new expansion, Greasy was able to recover from a slow start and manage to work back into the top 800US by defeating Mythic Mythrax(US719th). With the addition of new talent and leadership, we are confident in our ability to make up the few weeks that would of been required to kill Mythic Jaina(ended progression with numerous p2 wipes).

Avant Garde is looking to push as a top 2 day guild on a 8 hour schedule. If raiding 3 days isn’t for you and want to push content, this is the guild for you.

Schedule
Tuesday/Wednesday 6:00-12:00 PST. Raiders are expected to have full availability during these times. Absences happen, but please do not apply if you expect to miss a significant amount of raid time. We run an optional heroic on Thursday’s at 6:00 PST.

Culture
The guild culture is targeted toward working professional types who enjoy gaming. Maturity, communication & problem solving skills are key.

Evaluation
You will be measured based on your performance in raids. If you aren’t meeting the bar, whether that’s because you didn’t read up on upcoming fights, didn’t invest the time to understand your class, or anything else, we’ll be forced to look for someone else who can. Generally speaking job security here is very high, since we think of ourselves as a community and it sucks to throw people out the door, but if you can’t meet our needs and help us efficiently and effectively compete with top guilds on a 8-hour schedule, you will not be likely to have a long tenure here.

If you play a class with multiple specs for your role, you will be expected to play whichever spec will perform best on a per-fight basis, within reason. If you feel comfortable playing outside your role, that’s a great bonus and you should call that out in your app.

Good communication skills are a must. You don’t need to be the guy who leads the raids, and if you prefer to stay quiet for the most part that’s not a problem. However, you must be able to speak up when needed and need to feel comfortable doing so readily.

About us:
We formed during Legion and were pushing mythic content right out the gate. We all decided to step away from the game during Uldir due to lack of interest in the content among the guild. Recently about 10 of us have gotten together and decided to return to the game.

Schedule:
Weds 11pm-2am Server (9pm-midnight PST)
Thurs 11pm-2am Server (9pm-midnight PST)

What We Are Looking For:
Fun is definitely our motivating factor (which is why we agreed as a whole to step away from the game when players did not find it fun). A large factor though is definitely progression and seeing as much content as possible. We are seeking players with a positive attitude that understand an error correction is not a personal attack.

About our Guild:

Roadrunners formed at the start of Wrath and is one of the oldest guilds on kil’jaeden. Raiding on a short schedule(t/w/t 8-11pst), we are able to stay competitive by making effective use of our raid time. Loot is handled fairly with a loot council. Kil’jaeden has been around since Vanilla and has always been a high population server. The server is always busy with an active trade chat and auction house. Pug groups for raids and rbgs are constantly forming.

Trial Expectations:

If you are accepted for trial you are expected to be in guild and ready to raid by the next reset. We provide a guild cauldron and feasts however if you need other stat food that is your responsibility. Trial periods typically last 2-4 weeks, during which you will receive plenty of raid time so that your play can be evaluated. We expect you have a working mic and are able to communicate clearly should something happen during an encounter. Being able to take constructive criticism is a must. We are looking for progression minded players who want to raid on a shorter schedule. Class knowledge and prior raid experience is a huge plus.
