If it shares with 2s/3s/rbgs bracket, yes.
If it’s it’s own bracket, no.

1.) Blizzard has gotten plenty of things right, hence why this game has gone on for almost 15 years.
2.) Composition most certainly matters. Why do you think that it isn’t blind pick in the tournament? Sure it’s not necessarily rock, paper, scissors, but it plays a huge role.
3.) I hate solo queue. It just makes people even more disposable and increases my animosity towards bad players.
4.) The best way to learn is subjective, but part of me thinks have a team you can build communication with and have others point out what went right and what went wrong is a significantly better way to learn. Plus, with partners you can discuss mid-fight how to fix these things.
5.) Solo queue seems like a waste of time. This may be your only point.
6.) Comms are incredibly necessary in learning the game. Voice comms prevent overlapping CDs, CC, and coordinate burst. Playing without comms is like walking into a warzone without having loaded your magazines and hoping for the best.
7.) Nobody is forcing you to queue a comp. Literally nobody.
8.) Similar EXP & Cr players usually play together. I don’t find it toxic that this happens. I find it more toxic when I post up something like, 2.2kcr, glad last season, be of similar exp, and I have 1750 players with 33% win rates at 500 games pressuring me to get into the group. What would they gain from it? We’d undoubtedly lose the matches since that player is more or less dead weight playing that far up.

Furthermore:

1.) We already have two arena brackets and don’t need to spread it even thinner.
2.) Uhhh, yeah…
3.) Game’s not dead, just have a bad meta at the moment.

Most of those points are valid but tbh none of it matters.

The trending playstyle for the last few years has been “quick match” style of games and then normal “team queue” as a side system.

Comps and voice comms are irrelevant, wow has a voice com system and as for comps you get good ones and bad it’s the same for everyone queue’n.

If blizz wants PvP to flourish they need to redesign the system to make “soloq/quick match” meaningful with team queue still being rewarding aswell. On top of better meta balance shifts.

There is so much more depth to gladiator lore they can use to make these systems amazing and really fun.

I’d say it’s more like walking into a war zone deaf or…without comms. If you were to have no magazines, that’d be like queuing arena without your skills bound to buttons or on your bars.

Always this type of person against solo queue. I know you randomly got high rated this xpac and now have players to play with. I also know you’re probably enjoying the destro stand in the middle of the map meta. But try to see through the eyes of the other 99% of players who log on, want to queue, spend 2 hours in LFG, then log off. No game has as many barriers to pvp as this game.

There is actually nothing PvP-wise I support more than Solo que. As a player who every season never has a team and stuck going through LFG its really not worth it. If I could solo Q would rly resolve these issues.

I’m very much in favor of solo queue, but it’s not the silver bullet that people think it will be

They already have a solo queue for it, it’s called Skirmish.

If you want to do high end PvP, you’ll need to go out there and be social. Make friends, play with them. If you just want to do everything solo, then you are playing the wrong genre, you should go try Skyrim.
