Playing through Legion Remix I’m reminded how often I have to check WoWhead to figure out what I’m supposed to do for a quest. Modern gamers are not going to accept the play style of “look around for 30 minutes to figure it out” regardless of how much the simps tell us to “just get good”. Oh but sure, it’s the add ons that are the problem.

Which quests did you find that didn’t have a useful marker or otherwise?
I don’t remember much of anything in remix so far that really needed wowhead, aside from looking up a specific achievement reward…
I found most of Legion to be fairly straight forward, at least for the campaign.

There are occasional quest that are a little unclear but yeah for the most part the quest are just killing/looting stuff around the quest givers

Funny thing is most of the time theres no information whats in the patch, like mogs and mounts

there are quests which send “non druids” to the druid class hall
there’s always a bunch of confused folks sitting in the spot where you get teleported to when you’re evicted.

Lol. We’re not getting rid of Wowhead. If you wanna talk about any 3rd party site to remove, then we can start with raiderio and checkpvp(both stalkerish as it gets), and we can ban the use of simming anything externally or through addons too. Those are real problems. Looking up comments on wowhead or a youtube video is necessary, how else would we figure anything out? Without wowhead, you wouldn’t even know what quests or things are bugged for years on end with no fix in sight.

My favorite is the quest that’s in a tunnel or cave…
With the quest marker about 500-1000 yards from the entrance…
That’s hidden behind a bunch of stuff…
And no map for the tunnel or cave in Map, just “you’re here on the zone map”.

I don’t understand? Main story quests are clearly marked, and raids and dungeons are also clearly marked on the map. The game leads you wherever you need to go next? It even marks if you’re above or below where you need to be, so I’m not really understanding you here. were there specific quests that you were having trouble with?

I would love for wow to be more self-contained. There needs to be an in-game guide that is kept updated and current. The adventure guide just feels so useless.

Given their intent to nuke combat-addons, they should also toss their nukes on 3rd party websites! No more Armory, no combat log for out-of-combat analysis, no data-mining, everything encrypted… only “community sharing” on what you’ve actually found in-game. That would be hilarious
…hilarious and yet awful for players who’ve relied on Wowhead, Icy Veins, and other sites because the in-game guides/clues are woefully inadequate. Besides, Blizz would have to beef up Customer Support if they killed of Wowhead’s access to data-mined guides (most auto-answered support tickets point you to Wowhead it seems. 
I’ve had no real problems in remix.
If I pick up several quests, I usually track them from the quest tab and they show up on the mini-map.

I use an addon to avoid going to WoWHead or IcyVeins.
Not sure I agree with you here, because Legion questing does not require looking up Wowhead to know what to do. It’s fairly clear. The quest style actually hasn’t changed much from how it was in Legion to today.

Really. Which specific area were they being sent to? (or which quest specifically?)
My remix character is a druid, so it seems I’m not seeing that quest, heh. Was it an artifact quest/direction? Or part of val sharrah’s storyline? Or… Which quest(s)?
Never had a quest in lemix I needed to research any of it. And this isn’t even a ‘sweaty’ thing cause I don’t remember half these quests like I forgot harpies were even in Legion. But nearly every quest is use the portal two feet away from the quest giver if the quest is beyond thirty feet from the quest giver. There was also massive GPS improvements from BFA that gives you a diamond to chase and a button on the quest log that shows you directly on the map where to go.

legion remix sucks. It gives quests you cant even do. I got my artifact apperence quest and im stuck on The "Eye of Azshara: The Heart of Zin-Azshari.
Absolutely pissed me off after an hour of trying to find out why i cant get the heart, only to find out i have to be max level. Google says I dont need to be max level but the heart never drops. Lets not forget that I am doing this for a stupid housing decoration. Once I do that and the other monk decoration im done with remix.
