Yeah 36 will likely be the “bad” bag. Or even 38 although more likely 36, 38, and 40 for special events or a treasure.
The bag growth tends to be rather steady now. Each expansion the cheap bag is the same size as the best bag of the previous expansion with the new best bag being two slots bigger or the same size as the promotional bags from the previous expansion.
They’ve given us several 36 slot this expansion
36 slot bags are still not enough for all the junk in MY trunk

Yep. And those promotional bags will likely be the same size as the best crafted bags next expansion.
I’m hoping otherwise. I have all of them on several characters and I’m sure a lot of others do. I can see it going either way mind you but given how many they gave it seems underwhelming to not make that the expensive bag.
That is the trend with bags though, as someone who has bought the madman’s luggage and got most of the event bags from prior expansions as well as most recent ones. Temporary as can be but most of them are free to get, though this expansion we did get several more than we normally would because of the Diablo and Hearthstone events.
