<Parse> is a chill, mature, and determined raiding guild. Leadership has been playing since Vanilla at cutting edge level. One raid team. Our record time for BWL is currently 1:16 and our focus is on continually improving each week. The most crucial trait in a raider is the ability to take constructive criticism with dignity. The guild welcomes newerish players who are looking to join a solid raid team.
The purpose of the guild is to clear all end game content alongside people we enjoy playing with. The community is the most important aspect of the game. Those who are bad social fits do not last long. The guild has a strong social foundation of real life friends and friends of friends with two large webs in both Minnesota and New York. We have members who are not raiders that have a positive social impact on our community.

Loot System
We currently use the Effort Points Gear Points (EPGP) loot system. There is a trial period of two full raid weeks. Additionally you must be in guild for at least 9 weeks with competitive parses to be eligible for P6 BiS items that drop in MC/BWL. We have an informative spreadsheet showing how every single raid drop will be distributed by class/spec. We are swapping to the ONSLAUGHT loot system for AQ/Naxx (year 2 only).

Our primary focus is on clearing all current Classic content in a timely manner as we move into AQ 40 and Naxxramas, which is why we are interested in recruiting reliable and skilled players to add to our roster. Joined this guild a while back, itâs totally rife with nepotism. The loot rules say EPGP but are overshadowed by a ridiculously convoluted secondary system that favors officers/irl friends with a jank and opaque âcalculatedâ player tier system where they all sit at rank 1 gear priority. In the rare instance where the system couldnât be manipulated to his favor, raid leader âtrolllwarriorâ regularly ignored the loot rules entirely and put any and all gear he could equip in his bags under premises such as âitâs whatâs best for the guildâ or âI need more threatâ despite already being unequivocally months ahead in gear above anyone else. Officers consist of aforementioned irl friends and any others elected because they tolerate his actions and donât compete with his gear type; or knew they were in line for his sloppy seconds. After being satisfied looting every upgrade in the game to himself, subsequent loot was distributed to officers in reward for their cronyism using similar rationale, passing over players who were actually next in line for pieces they spent months accruing points to cash in on. Just another typical case of rigged irl friend loot council style gear distribution, but this time only marginally more subtle as to where they can hide behind slightly less blatant justifications. Any mediocre guild can clear this 15 year old 1 mechanic per boss content. If you want to actually enjoy raiding and be rewarded with gear youâve spent months of your time accumulating points for, you will have to check elsewhere.
this is quite hilarious. we plainly state the loot rules above but this individual is likely the one person who did not understand the loot rules time and time again after being told multiple times over voice and never bothered to read the guild rules at any point. they were benched because of performance issues. fyi the 7 items you need strong attendance + parses for are: DFT, Nelth Tear, Rejuv Gem, OSG, Accuria, Chromatic Boots.
at the beginning of the BWL tier we communicated to all our raiders that our tanks will be getting gear first. this is also still visible in our guild-rules on discord. most raiding guilds understand that they need to prioritize loot to the main tank as threat is the biggest bottleneck in classic raiding. we only ever received complaints about this from one player, who is likely the individual above.
stating that other officers received loot over raiders outside of the EPGP/Raider Priority system is blatantly false. sure, tank loot was counciled, but outside of that we used calculated values whether through EPGP or Raider Priority scores based off parses/attendance that are publicly available for all raiders to view the values of and equations of. we are also switching to the ONSLAUGHT loot system so we donât have to deal with any drama cry babies over loot. thanks for bumping the thread
