RNG is garbage and seeing players not get loot from multiple dungeons is quite normal considering for the majority of us we only get a 2/5 chance of seeing loot. It’s a 40% chance per dungeon to get loot with no fail safe, it’s just crap.
And it’s 40% every time, there is no increasing or decreasing probability on loot, it’s just straight 40% chance per dungeon every time you finish.
Now if you run a higher dungeon, it used to be M15+ and you go +3 on the timer, the dungeon would award more loot, I don’t know what the rules are now, but basically the higher you go and the faster you are, the more chance you have to see an additional piece of loot.
Well said. I got tired of that a decade ago. Its all trash soon as the next expansion comes anyway, or it’ll be replaced by greens in the second zone lol.
No. Vault sucks. More than half the time I go to it, I get something of the exact same item level as before but with slightly different stats. They should just let us choose the slot that we want to get. And also, you are better off just getting a raid done and getting gear from a full clear raid. Buy a spot in a raid, ask to buy out your share of the loot, then you are set to run your keys. Don’t run keys to get the gear.
Vault sucks the vast majority of the time. Sometimes I have gotten so upset with it that I take the loot and just vendor the gear and log out.
Upgraded versions of what you already have, if you are doing a high enough of one.
Agree 1000%. I did a few mythic + dungeons in BFA. I may have tired 1 or 2 in Shadowlands but I haven’t touched them since. I haven’t even done any of the dungeons on normal in Dragon flight. I just don’t enjoy dungeons in WoW anymore.
62 divided by 5 should yield around 12.4 items per person IF the game was playing balanced loot distribution. and even if it tired to do that, the statistical data would be skewed by the different groups formed for each run, thus altering that relative calculation.
if you had run those 32 M+ dungeons with the same people, and all of the armor classes were the same to what ever extent possible, then everyone would have a full set of gear because duplicates would get traded over so long as they were not upgrades.
to ensure this is possible, everyone would need to keep their key at the same level until everyone had Veteran gear, and then repeat for champion gear. then repeat that till everyone had Hero track etc. of course you could prob skip Veteran gear tracks.
5 items via pure RNG with different groups every time seems about right.
but as stated, tailoring a group around armor class and sticking together between runs should yield more gear for everyone over all because duplicates get traded over if rng is trolling.
maybe not, you could prob find a community. no guild hopping required. just find people with the same goal of spending X number of hours or doing multiple runs for armor stacking. ideally everyone is around the same ilvl else one person that is better geared is likely to get less loot by default of not needing it.
