2017 is such a weird cut off. I have PLENTY of sub time before 2015, but now there’s an esoteric cutoff that I don’t meet and get thrown into limbo for 30 days.
Interesting about the cutoff period, I didn’t know that. 2017 was a pretty long time ago to not have played WoW. A lot of people have had their accounts hacked within that timeframe. Seven years of not playing, I would consider you a new player to the systems in the game in general.
It’s called Season of Douchebags for reason…Blizzard prefers bots and a trash community.

There are multiple solutions. They chose this one because they made a calculation and determined that it is the cheapest solution. If you keep uncritically accepting their solutions, then things will only ever get worse.
Also lame they couldn’t use bNet purchase history. Been giving them money for years with the same payment method. Am i supposed to just sell my stacks to a vendor!
People aren’t mad that the devs are trying to find solutions.

Mostly just mad how it was rolled out. Not even a patch note or in-game link to a faq. Thought I was banned for a day until the helpful folks on the forum provided some info.

I am locked out of Shadow for 30 days because Mind Sear is unlocked from the supply boxes. You buy crafted items from the AH to fill them to gain rep. How is this so hard to understand?

We’re in P3 of SoD. I seriously doubt many new players have suddenly decided to play the game now. Between this and the GDKP ban, botting and RMT should just about disappear.
You know what’s really fun and rewarding? Spending 10 hours manually farming linen and wool cloth so my level 38 rogue can use first aid in combat, which apparently I want. Well at least the bots are slowed down by 30 days for now. :')
This change is good. wow doesnt get new players. only people crying got banned prob for buying gold. Or buy gold.
