Actually they do. There are zero rating restrictions or limits on random BGs. It’s not their fault or blizzards fault if you refuse to put effort into the game to improve your gear that’s on you.
Yes it does. Random BGs are open to anyone therefore anyone can go in. It’s not their fault you’re bad at the game.

They get nothing for doing unrated other than to be douchebags against people who wont ever be able to get that gear and in turn causes many to quit.
Its no different than some mythic raid geared player going into lfr and giving lfr players grief because they’re not doing more dps than him. Gear plays a significant role and no one is going to survive a glad or dualist player one shoting them. Has nothing to do with “muh working hard” or whatever buzz word you wanna use. Its mathematically impossible for a random bg geared player to survive against a fully decked glad or dualist player.

You don’t even realize that proper defensive trades can help you survive. However yes a blue geared player isn’t going to survive anyone.
If you have bad gear that’s on you.
Its on blizzard for allowing it. Locking them out of unrated is the only way to make it balanced. They have no business doing it when they have their rated nonsense they can do with equally geared players.

Btw a 278 weapon without BiS stats is better than a 272 weapon with BiS stats.
That stat increase on weapons is pretty high. Just going from a 272 to a 278 is 20+ main stat increase

In cata i did heroic ds basically every week. The weapon i needed came off second boss.
Got it a week before pandaria launched… that’s a solid 5 months i think.
Didn’t even get it on lfr or normal either. Literally tanked heroic deathwing with a dps 2 hander on as a blood dk.
Random BGs are never going to be balanced nor are they intended to be.
If you want a balanced BG go play rated BGs.
They have every right to do random BGs when they don’t have people on to play with.
You being lazy at the game isn’t a good enough reason to bar people from content.
what about all other avenues for weapons?
Random do need balance or the supposed having no one on to play with will be worse. You go onto unrated and spend all match one shoting a player who has no hope of fighting back than he’ll just quit because that isn’t fun no matter what delusions you try and lie to yourself with.

Not as long as a PvE player can out gear a pure PvP one.
