The horde AV queue has been 3.5 hours at certain times (of the night) for months. I checked after this was posted and the queue was two hours for me.
That’s the price you pay for winning almost all of the games. You can raid during the queue, do dungeons, farm, whatever you want.
You could reroll alliance, but you’d never want to play AV, because it’s terrible for alliance in its current state. I’m not going to argue reasons because that is pointless, but I will say that pretty much no alliance that is done with the rep grind will play AV outside of AV weekend.
In premades, battlegrounds for horde rankers go like this (depending on the group) AB, WSG, AB, AB, WSG, WSG, AB, WSG, AB, WSG, AV. You get little breaks in between each game. If you drop group for AV you might not get invited back, although some groups sync AVs.
In premades, battlegrounds for alliance rankers are like this AB, AB, AB, AB, AB, AB, AB, AB, AB. OR WSG, WSG, WSG, WSG, WSG, WSG, WSG. There aren’t really any breaks unless scheduled and if you drop group for real life you might not get back. AV is pointless so no one does it.
It’s more variety for horde even with queues. Just quit complaining.
