I’m looking forward to 3 day lockouts personally! Game is boring and way too slowed down without them.
Not sure why OP and those in OP’s position don’t just commit to one guild raid a week and tell their members to either skip the second lockout or pug it if they want to.
Pick 2 set days, raid those 2 days. We do thursday/sunday for example.
If there is an extra reset, people can pug.
Crisis averted

OP: I don’t like this because of A.

OP: No. >:(
Refering back to my previous reply, why does going to 3 day schedule have to affect your groups 7 day reset established of raiding once a week of the day you guys have landed on?
I like the idea of having the first 2-4 weeks being 1 week lockouts so people have time to do all the other things too without making it their lives or feeling like they missed an opportunity.
Then after 3-4 weeks, 3 day lockouts to ramp up the raiding and gear.
The op argument is silly. Just raid once a week as a guild and allow your guild members to pug the other two lockouts.

For loot, use tokens and as I always said spilit the loot to pieces. Whoever needed gets on piece. And you need 2 piece to make an epic,3-5 piece to make blue.
I mean this is just my wish
Lmao, i am just waiting for the “shutdown sod to get rid of the bots” threads… seems like we are close lol. It would be 100% effective if every server shutdown indefinitely and no one could play… no moar bots problem solved
nowhere are you required to do all the raid lockouts. If you cant do them so what, plan your raid day or two and do the raid then. If people want to pug in between lockouts then good for them.
you shouldnt get more loot because you cant play that often.
I completely agree with you, raids every 3 days is a total disorganization not to mention that you have to farm the consumables that are expensive. to be able to solve 2 raids a week without having to buy gold
Three day resets work fine for us. Our raid days are Wednesday and Saturday. Every once and a while we will miss a lock out but you can pug that if you really want to. Cheers!
with GDKP gone i wish they would a dungeon finder tool or something
its a real chore getting into groups now
and HR res runs are rampant on my server.
How they gonna ban GDKP but allow people to res items for themselves (ultimate main character syndrome) is beyond me.

I tried to organise runs with my small guild and ran into this issue as well. Some people are at best available twice a week. Quite often one day after the other. I’m forced to run without those people sometimes. Then those people are in turn forced to pug or miss out on gearing.
I made a system in which we would raid tuesdays and saturdays. Most weeks, you would catch both lockouts in a given week. Then every 3 weeks you would have an awkward one you’d miss. These were days when the lockout would reset on a wednesday. You would go in tuesday, and saturday. And completely miss a lockout. So on those days where reset happened on a wednesday, I’d push it out to thursday. It was the best I could do.

Reset on Tuesday + Friday would work imo

I try to do that but we have the same problem, there are weeks where they don’t fit with the schedule. In my guild we all work and have family, commitments and so on, that is why organization is key but the truth is that these constant restarts do nothing to maintain “the guild spirit” that Blizzard promotes so much.

I think two resets a week would be fine. Blizz would need to up the amount of loot off each boss to at least 3 pieces for it to feel really good though.
So long as it’s on consistent days I’d be happy.
If they did per-boss loot lockouts instead of raid ID they could also change it to where you could get loot from each boss twice a week instead of once. Essentially everyone could raid twice a week, but it could be on any day or both on the same day if that was most convenient.
Then you’d have close to the same loot per week, but be able to maintain the resetting on Tuesday system the game has used for 20 years that’s easier to plan around.
you know your take is bad when you’re advocating for playing the game less lmao
