we raid wed/sat and then like every 6 weeks an extra sunday and everyone get’s full bis just fine
Ill be honest, the best way they could have gone about this is give us 2 or 3 “reset raid” a week. It would allow a constant schedule for people who want that.
Just make your raid days and stick to them?
Example: raid every Tuesday and Saturday.
You will never not be able to raid. Your group will miss some lockouts, but you would have less anyways if the entire schedule shifted to accommodate you.
You don’t need to constantly raid day 1 each reset.
Eh, you’ll just end up with groups of 8 or something running endlessly selling runs to a magical and physical DPS all week.
I know those already exist and those groups of people have like 8 alts to cycle on, but this change would make it way easier on them and to be able to start selling runs earlier.
Make it a one day lockout. Lets beat it to death

Find a pug. They are abundant, especially with the new experience buff. You don’t have to raid every 3 days on the dot.

yes, this is a perfect question… this version of wow is all temp until blue can confirm what really happens to our red headed misfit child i mean sod characters when this ‘season’ is over…
I’d prefer a 7 day lockout with double the loot.
Needing 7 characters to be able to raid every day instead of 3 sounds toxic.
Except you can have consistent raid days? We set ours to Tues, Thurs, Sun.
No matter how the days fall you hit all 3.
It honestly sounds like most of yall do not like this game and just want to raid log for whatever reason. Dictating how others run a level 40 dungeon is ridiculous and ruining your servers.

Why would a 3/4 day lockout make planning your raid days be any easier than every 3 days? So theyre not the same day each reset, but the schedule is the same forever moving forward until phase 3 or whatever so you should still be able to plan those days potentially months in advance. My guild raids tuesday and friday and 3 day lockouts havent hindered us even once. Actually, we got a BONUS lockout last week or the week before that when the reset was sat, sun, mon, which fell right between our typical days. Sounds like to me you just suck at scheduling?

Here’s a real simple solution. You and your casual guild just pick any 2 days a week to raid, raid those 2 days consistantly, and let everyone else who has the time to pick up that extra lockout like every 3 weeks. The current schedule doesnt hurt you in anyway. You just seem to be upset if others get ahead of you. Stop crying if others try harder than you. Hell, my guild only does 2 days. Its not hard. The try hards can pick up that extra lockout.

Op: Do you realize that they can change lockouts from 3 days to 2 days to 1 day to every 90 minutes… and you can still run it the same 2 days of the week?
Or is your request more along the lines of, “Please limit the raid availability for everyone else to match my play times.”?
The reality is that anyone or any guild that is fighting to get that 1/3 extra lock out a week is likely doing it for like a few BiS pieces that just won’t drop.
