I wasn’t talking specifically about void elves I was talking about Blizzard in general being so bad at giving customization to literally all the races, just look back at my past forum posts. I’m just as annoyed at blood elves only getting armbands and 2 new hairstyles, nightborne barely even being a race with their lack of customization, and gnomes literally getting just two new hair colours, as I am with void elves just being purple blood elves.
Customization in general is so limited even with the expansion, “customization update” is a stretch.

They had said they now have a more advanced engine for the creation of customizations but they still need to do lots of coding and the more complex the new features the more the coding needed. Alas, hair colours that already exist in game either from other races or in the game files can be added relatively easy.
Maybe 5 new colors is Ion’s red line in the sand lol, so ask to remove the orange hair and replace it with black. That way it’s still only 5 colors and Ion can save face.
Maybe, but I don’t see why they cannot just add another 2 colours or so and make them 7. We really needed some colour variety anyways xx
Highly doubt it. People used to say the same thing when hair colors weren’t added earlier. “Blizzard must want VEs to keep their hair colors as differentiation from BEs”.
Nope, turned out they simply hadn’t seen just how many people wanted normal hair colors and tentacle toggle.

Because this was never about adding variety and choice for the sake of actual variety and choice. It was always about the incase of emergency break glass that is High Elves.
I mean ok but over 16 years there were a lot of break glass emergencies and we didn’t get all these options till now. Pretty sure there were some people among the devs who were insistent that we should not get Thalassian elves or light skinned / hair options. But times change, thankfully…
Maybe in 9.2 void elves will get males.
Well yeah, you don’t break all the glasses for the same emergency…
