Level 17 rogue, go level to level 46+ when your faction actually gets exposed to a contested zone.
Oh a mage player giving advice. That’s hilarious.
Yea sure buddy, unless you’re on Heartseeker, pretty much the only pvp server lopsided in alliance favor, you’re smokin crack.
Yep, that’s all you people have, when you can’t argue your way out of being wrong, you have to attack me, personally. You don’t even know me. I’m stating facts. You cannot control how the Gankfest Servers get to operate. You don’t get to control nor dictate when the opposite faction should camp/gank you.
They don’t care if you’re on your way to a dungeon or trying to level. This is the nature of Gankfest Servers. Go play PvE, since that is what seems to be a better fit, and there’s nothing wrong with playing on a PvE Server.
So the point about how horde can get to 46 without stepping in a contested zone…on a pvp server…was just overlooked? What a hypocrite.
Reading the level of the character you are posting on is not insulting you, its stating actual objective facts. You are level 17, you don’t even participate in pvp.
Wait you have a zep to brm!!!
Yeah, Gankfest Servers are garbage, I don’t deny that. And the part about how you don’t get to control how often nor when you get ganked/camped was overlooked, by you, as well. You don’t have that luxury the way PvE Servers. If you want to be able to control that, then I suggest PvE.
It is 'cause instead of talking about the issue, you want to get to the underlining of me, as a person, so you can use it, against me. Just stick to the subject.
Correct, I don’t PvP, but that still change the fact that nobody can turn off the PvP ruleset, on Gankfest Servers. Doesn’t matter if you’re trying to Quest. Doesn’t matter if you just want to walk to a Dungeon. You’re a walking target. And why anybody who wants to be that is beyond me.
You don’t get to control how the battle goes. Period.
I like how you quote something and literally don’t address anything in the quote.
How can you have a view on something if you don’t have a character that’s ever been a part of it?

Your opinion is irrelevant and I realized why your replies failed PvP basic knowledge.
I did, you just don’t like the answer 'cause I’m not sympathizing with you, and I’ll never sympathize with anyone that rolls on Gankfest Servers. You did it to yourself, despite the warnings.
The same way we can have a view about the sun. By reading and learning.
Nope, my opinions are relevant. You don’t have to be on the Sun, to know about the Sun. Through reading Books and/or simple texts, I can come up with my own ideas, thoughts and opinions.
You can make the choice to not engage with me, that is an option. But I’m far from “irrelevant”. Just because you say so, doesn’t mean it’s true.
And please, tell me, how is a level 60 picking on a level 20 “PvP”? This is perfectly acceptable behavior allowed on a “PvP” Server. I refuse to call “PvP” Servers as “PvP” Servers because they’re not really “PvP”. It’s nothing but Gankfests and have always been Gankfests.
Tips on how to ease your pain and frustration:
- Level via instanced content, like the dungeon Zul’Farrak
- Grind mobs in a desolate part of the world, like the blood elves in Azshara
- If you choose the grinding path, work in profession leveling every now and then to break up the monotony
- Level an alt in a different level bracket and/or zone
- Try leveling a character on a different PvP server, or try out a PvE/RP server for different flavour
- Take a break from the game; world PvP will die down once BGs are out
I didn’t do anything to myself. I’m completely fine with PvP servers. I was the one putting out the warnings to others before Phase 2 happened.
That was mid September.
This would be like doing Underwater Welding just because you read about it but never actually used any tools.
It’s very low quality PvP but it’s still PvP. Raids killing people or Raids killing raids is RvR.
Yeah. Just wait till you see BGs.
Guess I should’ve inserted the “in general” part, next to the word “you”.
Great!
Yes, experience helps, but we’re not talking about “PvP”. We’re talking about being Ganked/Camped disguised as “PvP”. It’s like people (in general) forget that this part of those Servers exist.
I don’t consider it “PvP”, but that’s why I don’t play on those Servers 'cause they’re garbage.
I have PvP’d (in BGs), in the past (I don’t PvP, as of late), and it’s nothing like being Ganked/Camped that hinders my leveling experience. There’s a massive difference between the two.
Just remember, you responded to me, when I was merely only engaging with the OP. You wanted to pick a fight with me, for whatever reason and just want to low brow insult my character (as in, me as a person, not my Avatar) 'cause you (and I do mean you) don’t really have anything to offer to the table other than wanting to verbally abuse me. So, anything else?
That’s simply not true. Leveling 45-60 on any populated PvP server is horrible for both factions right now. I’m sure it’s worse for alliance on the more imbalanced servers, but it’s not exclusive to Alliance.
Im sure youll be back to complaining when premades of good players farm you in wsg
Not on all servers. I’m ganked several time any zone I choose. I have to ask in LFG where the alliance isn’t. Usually it’s responded with “you should dungeon spam” Eh it is what it is on pvp servers.
– because “if you don’t like PvP then don’t roll on a PvP server” was too complicated.
If someone doesn’t PvP, it’s ridiculous there was a conversation in the first place.
Perhaps, don’t engage with them, in the first place, especially when they weren’t talking to you (and I do mean you), directly.
Do you know how I avoid dying horribly by throwing myself off a cliff? I don’t throw myself off a cliff.
I don’t have to be an expert in dying by throwing myself off the cliff to be qualified to tell you that. Not having PvP problems may potentially mean some thought went into the process.
It’s frustrating when people completely ignorant of basic things are trying to tell the rest of us how to cope with it, when they’ve never dealt with it themselves.
Forum filled with people who think they are experts when they aren’t, people who think they know what happened in Vanilla when they didn’t and people who think they know things when they don’t.
