2's Solo Shuffle Mode and 2's No Healer Mode

Just seems obvious that it would be an unplayable bracket excluding anyone who either has absurd control, or sustain and would fluctuate patch to patch so drastically that being 3k cr one season could also mean you get stuck 1k cr the next.

Post DF Havoc I could have solo’d 27 people on a DH, for example. Lol

Mathematically over a large enough sample it should be the same, it’s just that 1-5 or 0-6 lobbies feel bad, and there may not be as much toxicity if it was just 1 and done (ie, a DPS or healer is just getting dumpstered and prob won’t win a game - this is frustrating for their teammates). But, the flipside is that you could just as easily get counter comped 6 games in a row of single queues.

I dobt really care since I primarily queue healers and will get instant queues either way, and as said, over a large enough sample it’s going to be similar regardless, but it may reduce the mid-lobby crash outs. Admittedly it’s probably stemming from frustration with their own performance, but psychology you may move on easier if it’s just 1 game instead of having to play 3 with the same bad player or lose -150 rating for quitting the lobby. I’m also not really defending this behavior, if you’re good enough you’ll climb rating regardless of if some players are worse than you (that’s literally to be expected in low rated lobbies), but I can see how it might help with reducing toxicity and not feel as bad

There’s a lot of posts like this and they all boil down to a “the grass is greener on the other side” mentality.

Changing/adding more modes wont fix anything. It will just bring new complaints to the forums.

Yeah but stinky healers invade my skirms sometimes and force me into a 3v3.

There was an old forum blueposter I really liked who would take a look at posters who said, “X is so bad! Make it like Y and that will be better!” Then when a change was made, they would say, “Y is bad, make it like Z!” And then back agan to, “Z is bad! Game was better when it was X!”.

The guy would point out how people were often hypocrites and really bad at understanding what they actually wanted and eventually disappeared, unsure if fired or quit.

Ghostcrawler?

ofc a rogue would suggest this, no ty

I think he’s talking about a community manager (those are the blues)

Okay kiddo

Need to start deleting content unfortunately. :frowning:

Ahh yes, half the games would probably end up being long time 1.7 rogue players thinking they’re the new pikaboo bc they have near infinite vanishes, a vine boom sound playing in their heads everytime they gouge/run around a pillar and do rapper hand gestures each time they get their guaranteed re.

Add a cursed vision of Sargeras and NE as well.

There’s a reason why you’re called the wheelchair class. Cuz your comment is straight downs

I didn’t direct my comment to you but, for some mysterious reason, you got triggered by it. Who knows why.

That’s fine. Just funny that you’d say that given ret has every crutch in the game

It’s a shame we have to propose this as a possible solution because queue times are so bad. People just don’t want to heal unfortunately and there’s so many theories as to why

…Which is funny that people need theories at all when they could just ask PVP Healer mains why they’re not queueing for Shuffle.

The problem, of course, is that when they ask the PVP Healer mains why they’re not queueing for Shuffle, people don’t like their answers. So they stick to their made-up theories and we get nowhere.
