There was a good while where you’d complain about everything else then eventually started saying that yes, I’m only just pointing out that this is sorta a normal cycle for 2s, it’s a troll bracket
Ok ya the mage outgears you, makes 2s lame
I’d recommend gearing in any other bracket besides 2s
Carries are way more prevalent because PvE players have far more of a reason to step foot into PvP so ya things are weird now
It’s likely a combination of bad gear/spec/not being as good as you think/getting opponents that are better than you carrying other people
So you popped ward right as you died. Sounds like it was just too late. I think if spells are in the air, they’re landing, especially because of latency. I’ve died with Fade up when a spell is already in the air.

i love how this gets thrown at people when there are broken specs running around 1 shotting like gods.
like. its a massive slap in the face to ppl not playing meta specs atm. Im playing Aff lock the best ive ever played it atm. I can deffs see some flaws in my games and improvements that need to be made, but being 1 shot aint a result of those issues for me.

Nether ward doesnt protect against aoe spells like meteor. Also fel hunter can dispel? Even if your are grimorie of sacrifice you can still summon fel hunter and use the dispel.
Your only chance of having fun playing this spec in 2s is in tbc.
Nah man the reason is because you last played a spec that was pretty similar to this right

That’s what it means. It’s likely that your expectations are a lot higher from when you were the one playing a spec that was rly powerful in the meta, now you’re playing something bad

Yeh i know that much. I was at 100% hp. Got hit for 11.5k and then… nothing shows me how i died through ward.
Yeh i understand. Still so frustrsting to die to something so fast with a defensive option rolling…
Even when i think ahead, i die to bloody Fire mages insane burst on a short cd

It showed the meteor fof 11.5k. Then a couple 500 dmg hits from monk with a 530dmg overkill…

If there’s anything we’ve learned from fire mage and Destro lock essentially ruining all of BFA, it’s that “meta specs” will be remain good likely for an entire xpac.
There’s no real hope for balancing anymore, only a pipe dream. So either you suck it up and try to enjoy your current spec or spend some time learning a new one. That’s the unfortunate truth

Do yourself a favor and play rbgs. I hit 1600 in a day and have about a 50% win rate. I expect to hit 1800 next week if the pace keeps up.
Plus, you’ll be top damage and there are strats you can help with. I like to sit mid on silvershard and just slow all the people who are rezzing.
Brother, it 100% got kleptoed because lossa doesn’t call nether ward down if it’s on yourself. It only calls enemy cds.
