iirc the difference in the top 200 mmr for blitz is absolutely massive in terms of cycling cc, cooldowns and just following a strategy / communicating said strategy on the go.
Everything beneath that mmr is just a roll of the dice and a 1800 game is no different than a 2500, except at 2500 people see “elite” and open their mouths more.
Some classes can carry low mmr lobbies in blitz really hard. Not just fc/op healers but ranged dps who bait cooldowns from multiple enemies just to escape and blow up a different fight because its incredibly easy to take a 5-10s window and free cast on an entire team. Half of getting our of low mmr/placement games is just predicting other players reacting poorly and forcing those reactions as often as possible. Like you’re rotating from LM to BS but you see a ret going from farm to bs, its worth it to stop, unload short cds, then when they bubble just retreat and go to bs. If they follow they’re down defensives and your team can drop them. At higher mmr the ret will just ignore you and go where they’re going, but at low mmr you can feign a road fight and take crucial spells out of future team fights. You’re essentially just doing the bdk vs. priest strat, except instead of mobility locking you’re using their own stupidity to drain cooldowns.
If all you want is the transmog blitz can definitely be the most chill experience. Its not about sweating a perfect cc chain and lining goes like shuffle vaguely is even at low-mid mmr. Its about what I said above. Those tricks as I said wont work forever but thats far beyond transmog rewards and fights in those games end up feeling like 2s/3s/shuffle where people are cycling cooldowns well, rotating on the map properly and not taking too much bait.
