Much faster, much easier. Blitz You have to rely on 7 other random people to be geared and know what they are doing lol.

With the buff to mmr gains 2s 3s and solo shuffle are likely easier to climb atm.

Blitz is at the point in the season where you will have teammates hovering around 2k who just play for fun and may not necessarily care about winning – and that will make it harder to win and climb consistently.
