Grats on 2700 did you have fun along the way? Do you want to play more blitz?
How does one get such a high rating in Blitz? I’m at 1850 and quite literally 3/4 of my losses feel completely out of my control. Like I see teammates completely ignoring objectives or not doing basic things they should in these BGs.
Lil bro, I was literally just sharing an achievement and celebrating something I worked hard for. You’re the one who decided to roll in here as the self-appointed Negative Nancy, twisting it into some sob story about ‘mid players’ and inflated egos. It’s giving more bitterness than insight.
If Blitz has you this depressed, that’s not on me. Maybe take a step back, touch some grass, or queue something that doesn’t hurt your soul so much. But don’t come at me with your issues just because I’m actually enjoying the game and achieving my goals. Misery might love company, but it’s not getting an invite here.
Ah, here we go again, another paragraph desperately trying to sound relevant. The irony of accusing me of being ‘salty’ while frothing over a post you could’ve ignored is just too rich. But hey, thanks for confirming that your entire contribution here boils down to the same tired ‘Blitz is a meme’ take that no one asked for. Groundbreaking stuff.
Honestly, your opinion is about as impactful as a damp noodle in a battleground. So feel free to keep typing up essays while I keep enjoying my 2700. I’ll leave you to stew in the realization that no one actually values your input. Cheers, chief.
Yeah it’s easy to brag about hitting X rating in PvP when you’re Blazingboost’s #1 customer, Swole.
It’s a lot harder to win the game for your team than it is to lose the game for your team. Most losses will be out of your control, that’s the nature of playing on a team of 8 people. Don’t go into a game with the mind-set of needing to carry it to win, go into ALL your games with the mind-set of being the most reliable player on your team. The reality is, you will lose games that are completely out of your control, sometimes due to one players mistake. Avoid being that player at all costs to maximize your chances to win. That means things like holding your base as long as possible, not missing kicks/CCs at vital moments and knowing how to play your class.
So every time you queue, win or lose, try to find a lesson or something to improve on from that game. Become a reliable player. When you inevitably make a mistake that loses your team the game, understand what got you into that situation, identify the choices you made that led to it, and try different things next time.
Most of all, keep pressing queue. There is no substitute for experience, and at the end of the day it is just a game, losses happen, they don’t matter.
P.S Immediately ignore/report anyone who is toxic in the lobby. Ignore people who start to blame people, people who say GG 2 minutes into the game etc. These are a-competitive people who have nothing of value to contribute.
You flamed me about a month into the season after a blitz match and I am pretty sure my reports contributed in your ban. You also told me to “enjoy my vacation” and how I was never getting out of 1800 lobbies. Ive seen you rating shame multiple people in your consistent forum posts and just be overall toxic.
Congrats on your rating, but stay humble my dude. No one likes a sore winner either. PVP is dying and the people that are still around sure aren’t helping the situation.
I too, can just invent stories.
I don’t know man my mage is the same rating as your dragon even after eating a -200 and with over a hundred less games. Also I almost never get to queue prime time so it’s entirely degen hours with no mmr queues for fun. But go off I guess
My brother you completely lack self awareness and as a symptom you exaggerate in an attempt to dismiss because you can’t handle criticism. By all means though keep up the cringe, it’s somewhat entertaining.
Ah, the classic ‘lack of self-awareness’ accusation. Cute. It’s always funny when someone who jumped into a thread just to throw shade starts handing out unsolicited critiques, as if their commentary is profound. Spoiler: it’s not.
You claim I’m exaggerating, but let’s be real, this whole back-and-forth only exists because you decided to parade in here with your ‘criticism’ and now can’t handle it being dismissed outright. If you find it cringe, that’s on you, my guy. But hey, if you’re entertained, at least I’ve provided you with something your gameplay probably doesn’t: excitement. Enjoy the show!
Names himself “Irhuntardlol” - Claims other people lack self awareness. Absolute peak class lore.
Love how everything is “classic” and “unoriginal”. It’s like you’ve heard all of these before, couldn’t imagine why…
You’ve lost the plot my brother.
Ah, yes, the originality police have arrived. Truly groundbreaking stuff, lil bro. It’s almost like repeating tired jabs about self-awareness and cringe is your whole personality. Don’t worry, though, you’re consistent, at least.
Holy! You roasted him with such eloquence. You sir, are a man of culture.
And bloviating while playing the victim is yours.
Yuck that made me physically shutter. Don’t forget to tips fedora next time.
Victim? Oh, that’s hilarious. You really think I’m sitting here feeling attacked after this? The sheer projection is comedy gold. If anything, this whole exchange has been the easiest win of the week. But hey, if framing me as the ‘victim’ helps you sleep at night, go off, I’m sure someone out there believes it.
Again I’m shocked you’ve been told you lack self awareness so many times. Brother you’ve been whining since your original post, might want to give that a once over before you dismiss that you have a victim complex.
Are you perpetually shocked?
Shocked? Really? You’ve been recycling the same ‘self-awareness’ line for so long it’s practically a mantra at this point. It’s adorable how invested you are in diagnosing me with a ‘victim complex’ when the only one whining here is the person who can’t seem to let this thread go.
But hey, keep at it lil bro! If nothing else, your determination to psychoanalyze strangers in a forum post is… entertaining, if not entirely self-aware. Irony’s funny like that, isn’t it?
Actually not shocked that you don’t know what sarcasm is. You on the spectrum?
