It depends, I have a feeling lots of groups will chain wipe (unless they nerf it hard or give it zero buffs since players are like 3x the standard Era power) and if you are wiping on loath, 4h, or saph - each time you are drinking dps consumes + multiple resist pots, and if you do run over few days need to drink even more flasks.
If you remember pre-tbc there was an insane amount of gold buying by raiders, same in SoM. Basically almost everyone who didn’t run GDKPs for gold was buying it to raid.
If the prices are that high and people demand that they have those things… the raiding scene will be abysmal. 1500g is absurd for a single raid run… I wouldn’t even pay that on retail.
Idk I did nax for less than 100g, probably less than 50g. Not era, classic before era was a thing. Never used a flask, never had to. World buffs were enough.
Don’t be in a tryhard sweat guild and you won’t be forced to burn all your cash to gain a 1% advantage?
It can def be done for cheaper, and outside tanks many of the flasks can be avoided.
50g seems a bit cheap since you really should get at least a few dps consumes, 2x shadow pot, and 2x frost pots, at bare minimum.
I gave the expected items for someone trying to play at the top level and have fast smooth runs. Plenty of guilds are fine spending 4-5 hours or multiple days in naxx to save a few hundred gold on consumes. You also have many guilds in which some people are full consuming and carrying others.
It is like the holy paladin last week who said ‘naxx is ez’ and we looked at the logs and a dozen plus ally warriors in the raid are full consuming + getting rend as alliance.
This is disingenuous and deliberately misleading. Banning GDKP did exactly what we wanted it to. However, Blizzard price gouging people to try and eat some of the gold in the economy is a bad move. They’re not mutually exclusive.
25 is fine. 115 for the 4 I need is a lot.
Most items cost around 250-300g to craft right now. Not sure what planet you’re on.
No, we aren’t. Forcing people to play for 4-6 hours a day is bad game design. Most people want to play for a few hours and be done.
