So dungeon enjoyers get a nerf and the world first 60 folks abuse hyperspawns instead.

No, no it is not. Dungeons actually take a brain sometimes, have routes, paths, boss mechanics, dangerous pulls, other unique interactions/paths/shortcuts.
Sitting in one spot for 10+ hours spamming AoE until its time to move to the next spot is not even close to the same.
How are you defending hyperspawn farming at all?
I’m not defending hyperfarm. Imo blizzard is so inconsistent with what they claimed in blizzcon and keeps contradicting with themselves. But in this forum someone will defend blizzard as always

It does impact me? They nerfed dungeon farming to level because they demand you to quest. But then let hyperspawn farming to 60?
don’t worry they will nurf Mob exp next and all EXP will only come from quests
They are exploiting layers. Exploiting game mechanics for unintended advantages, especially this massive, is the definition of bannable exploiting. But nothing will be done.

I agree that the dungeon nerfs were dumb and the hyper spawns is equally bad. I found a person spawn camping this one NPC for unlimited linen cloth. The NPC has a ridicules spawn rate where he almost instantly respawns. I know its just linen, but I’m sure there are other equally bugged NPCs out there that drop better stuff.
Permaban anyone who has run a dungeon in the past three days.
People arent understanding this is why dungeons were nerfed. because people would aoe the dungeon down.
Now that its live, theyre doing the EXACT thing we said would happen, aoe farming open world mobs as fast as possible. Now they figured out how to layer hop (i figured it out day 1 as well) and theyre just abusing layers.
Blizzard isnt going to nerf them. The lesson has always been exploit often and exploit early/ 0 repercussions are coming. Because the repercussions are the complete gutting of dungeon grinding playstyles. because people “run dungeons for fun”. Nah this is turning into a cesspool of who can quest solo longer and harder.

NOONE is running the dungeons multiple times.
EVERYONE is skipping as much as possible.

Why does their aoe farming affect me? BECAUSE that aoe farming was the reason for the XP dungeon nerfs, and to see a playstyle being absolutely applauded by people, while people scream to nerf my dungeon xp, the way i prefer to play, im getting the short end of the stick here.
dungeon xp is working as intended.
exactly, dungeons were nerfed because people would just tip a higher level mage to solo SM all day from level 22 to 44, not to hate on full dungeon parties clearing dungeons the right way.
Smooth brains on this forum thinks the move was to kill dungeons so “everyone will be out in the world”.

Dungeon XP does need to increase, getting less than 50xp per kill feels bad, but these are two separate issues.

This is why I made the thread. I don’t care about the world first levelers, dungeon xp should just be buffed. But those people did exploit layers and I hate that BS so they should be punished regardless.
