1 Gold to reset talents the first time is insane

The game is brand new and in constant flux. The changes have been so massive and sweeping on some patches that entire specs and classes are changed.

There’s multiple unknowns with all this new gear, spells & encounters.

So why the heck would resetting talents for the FIRST time cost 1 GOLD???

If I wanted to do a bunch of research to play the GAME, I would go back to Retail or Era that are both already fully discovered games.

I want to explore. I want to test. I want to try new things. Without having to worry about farming gold to do it! I want to experience this JOURNEY they keep telling me I’m supposed to be on.

That’s absolutely insane!

Yea, I do think 1g is abit excessive for first time.

Should have been 10s first time increasing by 10s up to 1g per.

They had to take into account for twitch streamers and their parasocial fans buying gold.

I mean that’s the game man! Dual spec is a huge QOL but there should be some friction with choosing specs.

I’m not worried about it. I had over 30g on the beta by the time I hit 30 even after buying all of my skills.

It’s 1g then 5g then after that it’s +5 until it reaches 50g.

I think it takes months for that cap to go down

Similar to the addon that blocks Asmon or Olympus in chat, I wish there was a plugin to filter out “friction” and “the journey” from these forums.

By the same token, I wish there was an addon that blocked people like you who dismiss every person’s feedback that you deem “retail” or “friction” or “the journey” as complains. We don’t need you clogging up the forums with your constant boot licking and whining.

Vanilla WoW started at 1g for the first respec. WoW Forever/Classic+ should probably be more since it is new and improved, you guys can handle it.

Edit: I did say I was looking forward to reading complaints online yesterday about the rollout. . . day two.

Not playing it, just stating a fact.

BTW: blindly accusing a player of breaking the CoC w/o cause in the forums is probably a breach of the CoC.
