I dont understand why so many people have no issue giving up 20 years of Achievements/Mounts.
I mean if you quit years ago and are Returning for Forever I 100% get it. You dont have a connection to that time investment anymore. So for these folks forever makes sense. Same thing could be said for newer Retail players who have only been here for an expansion or two.
However I have played since 2005 I do have a strong connection to these items. I just refuse to play without them or worse give them up for essentially “a new game”

Not everyone is as driven by attachment as you are. I’m not saying its better or worse to not be (that can be a really interesting discussion in some contexts, but for sure this is not one of them), its just different.
