everytime i group with my leveling partner we have to log out and back in to see each other.

Questions!
After you accept the group invite and join your friend’s party, do you see the message in blue (lower-right here)?
Can you click on it?
Does clicking on it result in a pop-up that offers you the “Refresh Now” button?
Can you click “Refresh Now”?
Does that put you together with your other party member(s)?

Hi! I also had this last night - no refresh window is appearing. We had to wander to the next zone and wander back together in order to group (Tirisfal to Silverpine & back).
Moving to a major city likewise didn’t work to force change the layer.

Is there a command or UI or button on the interface that checks to see if your character needs to phase to a different shard and does it.
I feel like a “force me to refresh shard” or /refreshshardifneeded command would be great here.

I’m fairly certain i have never seen the respawn notification since launch.
I’ve also observed behavior where I can see other players, but we are fighting mobs on different layers.
I have seen an entire party wipe in front of me fighting air 
. Croaker area and the mushroom cave. Also, I have yet to be phased properly with party members without spam relogging.
This is super annoying. If a refresh is needed, make that button center screen and bigger. And, consistently displayed. I grouped a dozen times and only saw that button once.
that is how it was early beta, they mentioned it was immersion breaking and changed it . basically…
no i do not get the message in the lower left screen at all

I got the message once when I logged in earlier, then never again trying to relog/rejoin. Didnt try clicking on it though
edit: Had my friend invite me and they had the message pop up and it worked when clicked
The message is VERY easy to miss and it does NOT look like a button. My first party we literally sat and waited 30 minutes for the forced refresh thinking we HAD to, until someone taught us to press the button to refresh earlier.
I do like that invites and disinvites do not auto-boot you to a new phase. That was catastrophic in caves and dangerous areas. But the UI does a bad job at presenting to you what is going on and what you need to do to see your party.

We attempted this many times. We tried refreshing and it didnt do anything. my friend stayed phased out. we also tried this in safe zones and not in combat.
We also, tried using the IRL invite to group and right click invite to no avail.
to be clear. yes each time attempting the refresh when it was actually available. it was not always.
When grouping with my husband we’ve had problems with not being synced and not having the arrow button to force the refresh. It does not seem to matter which of us started the group. Relogging has not helped.
We do seem to sync up eventually, but could not tell you how.
Quick addition here. The button does not show when grouping across continents. I invited a friend in Stormwind City, they accepted, I took the boat over and during the boat ride people appeared. I figured this was me being phased on to the right shard. When I got there I was not. There was no button or command to resync. Group had to be disbanded and started over, then it was automatically joined and there was no notification.
Please give us a button, at least for a month while the server hamsters are trained.
