You promised that on launch day, players would be able to choose their preferred game mode and faction. But in reality, that was simply not true. I’ve been trying for 9 hours to create a Horde character in the game mode I want to play, but I still can’t. I paid for the latest edition of the game, and yet I can’t even play. This is frustrating, Blizzard.
trust me I feel you, I feel like the rulset is too strict, I feel instead of making it 100% 50/50 they should atleast allow one to outpop the other by atleast 20 player accounts. As that seems reasonable and not gamebreaking because currently the system that they have in place is not exactly great.
Same. Poorly executed launch that misled a lot of people. The solution would be to add more servers. Blizz can afford it.
Lmao imagine crying thinking a gamemode historically known for being anti social, single player, anti player would let you enjoy the game.
Either go pve or waiting another 3 weeks. But blizzard made it cleae your voice doesnt matter only the streamers.
Anyhow why you guys play classic minus im gonna keep playing deadlock byeee
They dont want servers because they end up having merge them anyways due to low player counter after everyone quits in a month
Right, but at least they could rebalance factions doing that without forcing people to play things they don’t want to play. Player satisfaction will tank when people can’t play the $30 blue elf they paid for or the faction their friends are playing, which will lead them to quit anyway
They should make another pvp server that only allows you to make horde toons
lol deadlock
you’d have the same problem. Even if it was 70% horde 40% alliance you’d still have people wanting to roll Horde and complaining about waiting
how do you think splitting a larger unbalanced group into smaller groups will magically fix the balance issue?
You should all be making dwarves anyway. Blizz allows any and all dwarves because they are the greatest of all races.
It wouldn’t, permanently. It would get the game into a playable state and then require consolidating once players quit/stop playing to assess how many actual active players are playing each faction.
Womp womp to bad. I have zero sympathy for anyone complaining about not being able to do or play how they want in classic minus.
Next time you all should have listened to people like me instead of parroting the go back to retail reeee.
This is what you get a era rehashed slop fest of a game on its 4th attempt to remain populated past the 2 month mark
You could have spent that 9 hours playing Horde on PVE instead…
Better game then a rehashes masocist simulator of soullesss fetch quests empty world and anti player anti social anti group mechanics
I almost think a better way would be to use layering to enforce balanced pops, not caps. So even if there’s 75/25 horde, layering tries to even it out?
IDK
They talked about it in their video’s, they looked at the many years of history data they from the various game modes to see what things have worked and havent worked when it comes to pvp server balance. This was the best solution to the problem as indicated by their data. Does it have downsides, yes, but they believe this will be the best in the long run based of their data analysis. Why do you think that you know better? I suspect you dont have access to the data they have but somehow you believe that you are better informed about the issue?
The game is in a playable state for the majority of players and the rest will get settled eventually.
relax bro its not that serious lol
Im just having a good ol time of the told you so my dude. Everything i said would happen has happened and jow everyone is crying and im getting a kick out of it
I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment regarding the faction restrictions on the WoW Forever PvP server, which prevent me from creating a Horde character to play with my friends.
I have wasted more than 8 hours trying to create my character without any success. Many of us work all day, and all we want is to come home, relax, and enjoy the limited free time we have.
It is completely unacceptable to pay for a game and then be forced to play a faction we do not want to play. I understand the need for faction balance, but that should not come at the expense of paying customers.
Furthermore, numerous players on the forums are complaining about exactly the same issue.
**I did not pay to waste my time waiting, nor did I pay to play a faction I dislike. I paid to enjoy the game with my friends.
**
I am extremely disappointed with this experience and expect a serious response and a prompt resolution.
