I went in to ironforge expecting to see everyone on launch day! All excited! I get in there to see trade say “english - 46” and barely anyone is chatting in trade, and i saw maybe 8 people AT BEST. This was very sad to see :// am i going to be stuck to this “46” forever ? how do i change out??
i think its because of layering. i dont exactly know the technicalities of how it works but im assuming there is heavy layering to make launch go smoothly. i’m just assuming though so dont take it as fact
It might surprise you to learn that people haven’t been waiting for WoW:F to sit in cities immediately. Presumably people popping in for class/profession trainers and then quickly off questing.
It’s the layering, My Trade chat says “English 48” which leads me to assume there are at least 48 other layers of people wondering where everyone else is, too.
Theres no one questing neither. My layer is empty. Was not like this on beta. Also, there’s the specific “english-46”.
when i first got into the game it was borderline impossible to do the first couple of quests because everyone was fighting over the mobs, but shortly after that people slowly started disappearing. yeah it made it easier to continue questing but seeing all those people and playing alongside a giant group of people makes it so much more fun
Because everyone is out questing
people saying people are out questing have not played a wow release ever before
so got on blimp to Orgrimmar
1 person in the city . . .
nobody here
just me and some other guy
I’ve seen maybe 10 people while leveling through the NE starting area. On launch day.
Whatever is going on with layering needs to be removed asap. This is awful.
let me guess everyone is inside there houses brewing potions and going to the auction house via a web page . and nobody at all in Orgrimmar they all out killing spiders in brill
all 4 of them
It says there is only 50 people in UC on pve.
I’m guessing Blizzard dialed its layering system all the way up to 11 for launch and will tune it back, maybe after the weekend or something.
People are saying it’s been one of the most smoothest launches in the history of the game, which I’d probably agree with. And I think that has a lot to do with the aggressive layering.
In all likelihood you’re probably right.
Mist people don’t go to the city until lv 10. Also it’s late and people are going to sleep because they need to get up for work tomorrow.
This needs fixed immediately. Everyones memory of the wow classic reboot is gonna literally be like retail. suprised I haven’t seen any tumbleweeds
so why is classic era have 30 people in town
going sleep if its not fixed i just go back to classic era not playing a single player game
again if you think people out farming you are delusional
you all never played a single wow release ever
there suppose to be 100-200 people in the city at least
all bubbling potions very very very very busy
its not . its dead nobody just me and one other guy
if you think thats normal you never played wow before
Because they’re all level 60 with nothing else to do but afk in a city.
Layering and people are leveling out in the world. Haven’t gone to any major cities myself though.
Yeah, I’m on the RP server and I had to go to the Barber’s, so I went into SW. It was pretty dead, there were only a few people around, but yet the trade chat said trade 84. So I think they’re overcompensating with the layering a bit.
