Sorry Elemental shamans, its done congrats its just like 2004 launch. no fixes, glaring mistakes and core class problems from mana regen , dps , rotation issues and the spec being zero fun. But the devs couldnt find time to fit in the busy schedule after all the streamers got what they wanted. Its time for launch and they just couldnt fit the Ele shaman in… its been real, but its not been fun. RIP Ele shaman

Yeah, The devs have known about these issues throughout the beta. the launch is a few days away, and now were at the point where players are still having to explain fundamental problems with the spec.
The problem here is not that shamoons need to be the highest DPS spec in the game the problem is it needs to function properly.
it really does feel like history repeating itself. We as elemental players aren’t asking for special treatment, we are asking for a functional spec and after all the feedback the shamoon community has given for the ENTIRE beta feeling disappointed at this point is reasonable.
I hope someone proofs us wrong, but the current state and silence does not provide any confidence.

They have the opportunity to do some really cool stuff with the classes and change up the way they play, fix things and make them fun.
But look what they just did to Druid.
I honestly think they have no idea for what they want to do with the classes (the ones they dont play).
I do hope they eventually get it together and make all classes fun to play though.

Personally I want Lava Burst gone and replaced with something else, maybe a Wrath of Air totem that also gives the overload effect to party members, or something that changes the way your shock spells work.
Elemental and Resto Shaman have no beneficial weapon imbues, make Flametongues imbue give spell power, and give Resto one that increases healing.

you are correct the weapon imbues could have been expanded onto our spells instead of weapons and given the effect on hit to our lightning bolt , chain lightning and lvbrst. but these ideas were not blizzards. so they are outa the gate insulting to people who have egos the size of barn doors. So you can see the issue is they wana pretend to be listening without actually doing the act of it because this hurts their brains and will avoid any amount of accountability for things they have royally messed up, to ruined classes since day one of the beta.

I want all fire spells gone and replaced with lightning spells, same goes for the totems. give me lightening totems for dps. give me lightening shock. hell let lightning spells give a statis debuff that when it hits enough stacks the target gets stunned. something unique. be done with this off brand fire mage trash. Ill even take an earthquake spell the dazes targets in an aoe and does damage at least it makes sense with the lore of a shaman from warcraft.

You, need to think for yourself. don’t be a sheep, Im not saying he is ALL bad ideas but blindly saying yes to everything some one says is NOT healthy.
I look at it like this.
Every other class has had major changes and tuning except for Shaman and Rogue.
Mages check.
Paladins check.
Warriors check.
Hunters check - and lol at no shot clipping.
Druids check - although apparently they made Resto clunky.
Priests - check, Mind Flay still needs to be 30 yds
Warlocks - check because they were mostly fine tbh - though someone noted a mistake they may make with Wrack soon.
It would be incredibly irresponsible to not give Shamans (esp Elemental) and Rogues (the most ignored spec) a patch before launch.
But we’ll see.

its not limited to ele spec you are right about that, but, are we literally not the dps spec that is literally DEAD LAST trash? hell, we arent even ahead of PET SPECS. do you understand now?
