A hundred class changes today and zero for shaman or rogue, and Mind Blast still does bonus threat

GD, they rewrote paladin and druid and nerfed priest shadow word death hard.

Why on earth would they keep the mind blast threat on there? A dumb relic from vanilla, just like the earth shock threat except priests were never going to tank

Its not a nerf. Its doing what it’s always done. It was severely under tuned for return damage.

The only spec simming worse than every single rogue spec at the moment is ele shaman.

True, but the only classes and specs that are simming in C tier (the bottom) are every single rogue spec, followed by Ele Shaman.

And yes, sims dont have the whole picture, but when Survival hunter is simming at ~1250 dps, and ele shaman is at ~600 dps, with rogues barely 100 over that, you would think they might get looked at

This isn’t a “the most important classes get changes first” kind of development cycle. The game is not live, the most erroneous changes don’t get priority #1. Sometimes they haven’t figured out all the changes they want to make or encountered problems that need more time to fix.

If I could give any advice, I would give feedback without being reactionary. No changes doesn’t mean your class is being ignored. Give feedback but not “blizzard forgot about us” “we’re not important because we weren’t changed first” or “just delete our class its obvious you hate us”, just to name some common things I see said on these forums.

Also keep in mind sims are dramatically wrong right now. Sims are based on classic-era gear assumptions. Our gear at 60 is not going to be the same. All items have been adjusted dramatically. We should not be acting like our sims are accurate.

I agree with everything you said. And I am trusting Blizz to work it out.

The main worry I have is that I do enjoy a spot of statistics, and even though we dont know what the gear will look like, if everyone is similarly disadvantaged in terms of gear, with the current spec changes put into place, we will likely see nerfs to warlocks. hunters, and warriors, with buffs to shamans, druids, and rogues.

And with launch 5 days away, not seeing any movement on the weakest classes (and have been for a good bit of time) is a tad worrisome. But, I am choosing to put faith in the process :stuck_out_tongue:
