Same. I created on Alliance PVP because Normal servers were permanently unavailable on the day reservations opened.
Trying to switch to Alliance Normal, doesn’t work.
Login delete character from Alliance PVP.
Quit game.
Verify character deleted from PVP.
Change ruleset to Normal, back out of character creation screen to verify character list is empty and I’m on Normal.
Create Alliance character on Normal.
… suddenly all 3 of my characters populate. It says “Normal”, but… it’s not. As we will see.
Quit game.
PVP Ruleset shows all 3 characters.
Normal Ruleset still empty.
And, mind you, Blizzard are the ones who told us to create characters wherever we could and fix the Rulesets later.
I also shouldn’t be affected by faction balance issues: I’m trying to leave PVP.
