But frankly, I wonder how the choices of the ‘beta’ will affect the final product.
Ehhhh, there’s nothing in Blizzard’s history to suggest it will. It’s going to be an absolute cluster. I’ll get on in the early AM on Thursday when hopefully the instability and population overload has steadied a bit (well, will still try on Wednesday night, just with no expectations…)

Same. Im sure there are many returning Players who will enjoy it. IMO this is who forever is for. People who quit because they didn’t like what retail became. They already quit so they are not giving anything up by moving to a New Game
Me however I have been here since 2005 and I have 20 years of Mounts/Achievements. Im not giving all that up and jumping to a new Game. I cant play both either. I have 5 mains. No time for more.
Saaaaaaame. Especially not for a Classic version. lol
You know that you can have your cake and eat it too. Forever isn’t going to have seasonal content that you have to keep up with.
Not losing all my stuff and I am not playing without it. Sorry. Already stated why I didnt have time for both games.
With that said… I do think its an amazing concept. Im sure many will enjoy it. Its just not for me. Like I said above IMO Forever is more for people who recently quit, quit years ago or are possibly on the fence with quitting. They already quit so they are not giving anything up by moving to a New Game. It might also be good for anyone who only has 1 main in Retail and thats the only toon they really care about but has the time for a second Game.

I’m happy for those that have this version, but there is nothing that would make me waste my time in a Classic version.

Do you understand that the ONLY reason many of us are still here is our investment? Aka all our stuff we have accumulated over 20 years? I can see by your achievement points you probably do not have the same view.
So Forever may be a great game for you. Enjoy it. Im just telling you why most of us wont play it and why many consider it “a waste of time”. When they say that they dont mean it is for everyone. Just them. I feel the same way. Would be a waste of my time.
I may level a toon at some point to 40ish to experience it but there is no way Id stay
it would be a less enjoyable way to ‘waste my time’
