Name Reservation Issue for Oceanic Players

Attention Oceanic players connecting to Australian-based servers!

Due to a bug, you must create any characters on Roleplay or Roleplay-PvP rulesets before creating characters on Normal or PvP rulesets.

If you first create a character on the Normal or PvP ruleset, the Roleplay and Roleplay-PvP rulesets will no longer be available for subsequent characters.

This issue should only be present for players in the Oceanic region who are connecting to Australian servers, and we’re working on a fix for it urgently.

I was logged in at 3:42 EST, can’t get logged back in now. Big sadge if I lose my character name because of it :frowning:

OCE here, The queue keeps cycling down to login and then disconnects after a little bit.

Can you please escalate and resolve the issues with login servers and getting names reserved for Americas? It’s been 15 minutes since supposedly things opened. Or please issue communications that explains the delay or new time to reserve.

This is so frustrating. I’m sure we all have things to do after getting a name, and no timetable is really putting pressure on.

Would be nice if you guys actually had the servers ready for this instead of making everyone suffer through the constant discussions… I’m amazed on how Blizzard fails at this stuff over and over again.
