The WoW Forever Beta is now closed, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us over the last five weeks of playtesting, data gathering, bug reporting, and feedback.

We’re now quickly moving into a period of a few short days where we will do some focused work on priority issues and the game service itself, so that it will be in good shape for launch day on November 4.

And of course, we’ll open access to the character creation system on Tuesday, October 27, allowing everyone plenty of time to select the ruleset that will define your journey and snag the name that best fits your adventurer.

You won’t have to wait until the game launches to make these big decisions.

Also next week, we’re going to continue with our WoW Forever Podcast. If you haven’t consumed it all, this is a great time to catch up with everything the WoW Forever designers have had to say.

thank you for making this version and the game fun again..just was expecting some sort of fel mushroom cloud to take us all that didnt get a chance to jump at TB…

You have other iterations, several in fact, for that. You should try those.

A wonderful journey it has been. Thank you Blizzard, from the bottom of my heart, for managing to recapture that spark I missed so dearly from WoW. It is time for my characters to go home and rest now in preparation for their next big adventures.
