This last day on the beta was the least amount of fun I’ve had in Warcraft in years. Absolutely terrible. I just wanted to log on and finish a few things. Instead I can’t get a group anywhere, am constantly avoiding kazzak, have empty cities, useless auction houses, and am constantly hunted by players who are taking advantage of the zombie plague to grief others by killing them.
I know terrible people really enjoyed being able to attack other players despite them not being flagged for pvp. I’m sure the developers had a great laugh at ruining someone’s peaceful morning. And I know not a one of those people will ever feel bad about being a horrible person, but I just needed to say something about it, maybe see if there was anyone else out there as annoyed with the awful “beta event” as I was. Probably not.
Now that I’ve said my peace, you can look below and likely see replies by some of the terrible people whom feel it neccessary to make snarky comments insulting me because I object to people griefing in video games.

i liked the end event, minus the zombies thats always a stupid thing to do for trolls, people also buying out the auction house and raising all the prices is also stupid and troll level behavior. the one thing thats really irked me is it seems to still be a million shard/layers but now theyre all like 10 people and the raid bosses cant even be downed anymore. going out with a whimper instead of a bang is just sad

Right? I logged on and was like, “Wait they added wraths pre event to this!?!?!?” So much fun.
Its the last day and theres no point making any “progress” anyway so might as well just have some fun.

Well you had like what, a month to “log on and finish things”? Most of the time I see comments like this they just seem selfish like somehow they are entitled to a tailored experience on a beta server. Put a little thought into it. You could avoid it in most game zones. And honestly I think the devs had a lot of fun with this, they are perfectly allowed to put plague grain and boss events in their game. It was fun for a lot of players too.

I turned the corner in goldshire and got agro’d by stitches two electric boogaloo. First thought was, “Well you’re not supposed to be here lol.” No point in being mad. It was funny more than anything else. Same with killing some defias for purples and getting ganked by 6 scourge. All in all, super fun day.

woudl be more fun if i invested more in to it but i was too scared to leave the ariea to level and everything was red so i just always died. ya idk i though it was over but it was okay. peobably would have been more fun if i knew about it. before hand. I was doing professions witch required people to put my crafts co i coulsd buy more resoeces and the moment i saw those. the beta was over,but you knew it was ending.

The beta was extended last minute from the original plan so why didn’t you have everything you wanted done already finished? I hate the zombie plague too but I can (and did, though unintentionally regardless) just not play the game. I got my fill of the silly event and then logged off

What fun? It’s not fun at all to me. I’m glad you had fun, but we all have fun in different ways. As predicted, terrible person absolutely unable not to keep themselves from responding to insult someone who doesn’t have fun THEIR way.
I WAS having fun, in the beta, playing the game. And I logged in to have fun, and then, everything was pointless. You enjoy that? Great. Good for you. Here’s a cookie. No sweat off my back.
But I didn’t enjoy it, at all.

It’s funny how people often say they want a dynamic game world that feels social and alive and then when you get it, the complaining starts.
Blizzard was right. People think they know what they want. But they don’t.
