Traditionally, Poisons appeared in the Spellbook. The skill could be dragged to an action bar and the button pressed so that you can open it directly.
The Professions Panel main page shows each of the professions and allows you to drag a button onto a bar so that you can directly open First Aid, Cooking, etc without having to go through different pages.
Now that Poisons has moved to the Professions panel, the button has been removed from the Spellbook, but it has not been added to the front page of the professions. This means that there is no way to add a button that will take you directly the Poisons crafting window without first having to open professions then choose that window.
I understand that you’re trying to streamline it, but the very existence of all those other draggable buttons on the Professions tab indicates you realise people still want to put it on a bar.
Please give us a way to put the Poisons page as a button on our action bars again.

yes it can it’s literally on my action bar
On which page? It’s not on any of mine.
I think it was because i used a classic UI addon which allowed it so it’s possible if you use that addon

Yeah, I’m using minimal addons to test the Beta, and it’s not in the Spellbook. It used to be under Assassination.
I submitted it as a bug cause lockpicking is still there.
Yeah, Lockpicking is an action, and hasn’t been moved to the Professions tab.
I mean you can use that addon, add them, then disable the addon. Mine still works from action bar
You can also add every profession to action bar just not poisons. Has to be a bug.

Sure, but its a Blizzard bug, so Blizzard should be fixing it. Writing our own workarounds for their bugs shouldn’t be necessary.

It should be in the spell book since it’s a rogue only ability.
It shouldn’t be on professions tab.
They just need to add the icon back to spellbook
It’s probably 1 line of text change. Super easy to fix.
I can probably have Claude make me an addon that only does this in like 5 min.
