In a recent episode of the WoW Forever Podcast we discussed some of our concerns with adding a Roleplay-PVP ruleset in WoW Forever, but we also mentioned that we were still discussing the topic internally and watching player feedback. Over the last few days, we’ve carefully examined what it would take to add it to WoW Forever and decided to go for it. We will add a Roleplay-PVP Ruleset for launch on November 4.
We’re also working hard to make it so that you can select the Roleplay-PvP ruleset and reserve names there next week when our Name Reservation period begins on Tuesday, October 27.
We really appreciate the feedback and comments on this.
Well there it is, sometimes they do listen to feedback after all. All you folks need to do now is fix dungeon XP and I think we’re on track to a fantastic release.
Thank you for doing this. As someone who has played both Grobbulus and crusader strike, please make sure to enforce the rules so we don’t have a crusader strike 2.0. Realistically, breaking the RP ToS should get you deported to the non-RP ruleset (rp → pve and rp-pvp → pvp) after your second or third offense.
Thank you. While we are grateful, please remember that WoW as a game is naturally conducive to RPers and a roleplaying environment. Please keep us in mind in the future and we appreciate it.
