Tons of the Rp-pvp community is waiting to see if Blizzard listens or not. OCt 27th will be a very eye opening moment for how blizzard plans to listen or dismiss what players want. Best of wishes to everyone who fought for the Rp-pvp community.

I will not be reserving my character name since your current decision to not include an RP-PvP ruleset at launch lead to me refunding my Forever Collection.

It isn’t too late for y’all to change your mind, but until then my purchase remains refunded and my sub cancelled.

Why did you pre-order it knowing RP-PvP wasn’t included?

Lol, lmfao even.

Blizzard has multiple times in the past added RP-PvP just before launch. Figured we’d have the same situation again.

Now that it’s here… I can’t think of any good names.

Well, I wish you guys good luck on your crusade. The commotion itself is everywhere on the forum, but dunno if Blizz will cave or not.

Since we’re on the discussion about names… Had this topic open for about a month now. Really hoping a Blue takes a look and we can get some clarifications :frowning:

Please check it out. Thank you.

Seeing how they are choosing to do a podcast every week seems like evidence that they are trying to address the community in weekly waves, which has recently been approved to last until the end of the year.

I think if Blizzard is honest about their efforts to communicate with the community (by also inviting guest speakers, though they should really vet them first), then we will see their truer colors about this decision come Thursday.

It’s one thing to say no, it’s another thing to say no again after the very reasons for gutting RP-PvP have been addressed by and large by the community.

At first, my outrage was certainly blind to the side of what we were losing, but recently it is my conviction that they made a valid choice with what they knew at the time. To put it short, they believed that the RP-PvP ruleset would be steamrolled from all the players leaving the PvP ruleset, and that RP-PvP would no longer be true to the name.

This has since been debunked, so if they are truly listening, then our next opportunity for an answer will be Thursday. This will reveal their character further (as they still have a lot to do to get back into the good graces of everyone who have left Blizzard for many years as I have), so until then I am expecting silence.

They have a chance to really make up for this and drive hype through the roof, but they also have the choice to disappoint, believing that this best for the game despite the sacrifice.
