My friend and I were leveling in Redgridge when the horde attacked. We logged into our 30’s, but couldn’t find the raiding horde, and still couldn’t sync our characters to the same layer. We re-invited each other, we ported in and out of Stormwind and stoned back. Nothing works.
Friends should be able to force a layer switch when we join the party.
They should probably make it so you can pin your layer for a period of time on a cooldown and make sure you don’t leave it. Or let you chase players onto layers if they’ve recently attacked you, as well as find friendly players you’ve recently grouped with.
The layer RNG makes the layers themselves feel significantly worse, when you’re trying to get to a certain objective on a particular layer.
