Have the Prairie Chicken from the quest in Westfall, and was gifted a Green Wing Macaw. but I can’t see either of them in the Pet Journal. Total pets shows “2” at the top. I’ve disabled all add-ons, and it’s still empty.
I did work previously, but as of a couple of weeks ago, and I can see other players running around with their companion pets out.
This is by design. Stuff is hidden to encourage exploration and community. See someone with a pet you don’t know about? Go talk to them
Why can’t I see my own pets? And even if they tell me where they got the pet from, and I get it, I still can’t use it because I can’t see it in the Pet Journal…
I’ve been dealing with the same problem. I’ve tried all the suggestions on Blizzard’s help page and it still hasn’t fixed it. /summonpet doesn’t work for other pets in my collection besides the white kitten, and if I right click the pet to “show in pet journal” I get a Lua error message.
I also got other pets to see if that would fix it, but it will just show that current pet in the journal when you select the message at the bottom once you’ve learned it. Eventually if I check the pet journal that learned pet’s profile is gone.
I’ve been having the exact same issue, it was working fine a couple weeks ago then all of a sudden it isn’t. It shows “Total Pets 6” at the top in my “Pet Journal” but doesn’t show any of the companions I’ve “Learned”, really sad hope this is fixed by 4th of November.
