Well, with the changes to Endurance, Taurens are dead. I was so excited to have a fun, and amazing racial buff with Endurance granting 1% Hit. It was the first time, in Classic, I didn’t feel gimped for choosing Druid as a horde player. Flash forward to the latest update news and we get murdered. Taking away 1% Hit and instead giving us 2% Critical Damage (and healing) Bonus? Not critical strike chance like other races, no…just a damage (healing) bonus. I feel as if, I am being forced to choose the new Skyborne race as the only playable druid class, as the racial bonuses severely out weigh the former. Please consider reverting this change. It would make this cow-man happy and I’m sure many others agree.
Racials don’t matter for Tauren.

All the ribbons got buffed. But the biggest hit was their hit. Orc got global crit chance (buff), synced bloodfury with rage of the farseer and other cds, even with nerfed magic dmg reduction the curse bane break is still insane. Like literally nothing changed for orc imo lol. 1Min on BF is not that bad at all.

Look I liked the hit chance but lets be honest calling an entire race “dead” because it’s racial bonuses are slightly less good than the other options is insane hyperbole.

I don’t think people understand the value of 2% increased crit damage, especially for classes like warrior and hunter.

crit damage is dependant on actually critting, and also primarilly actually HITTING the target. +healing from a crit heal.. this s*** doesnt even exist!
thus the tauren +hit was by far one of the strongest racials in the game, and why many of us play them. Its a race not dependant on chances, but being the stone walls they are.
it was also a trade off for being the biggest targets in the game.
tbh this is BS change.

they took that away and gave us bonus to crit damage and a bonus to heals if we crit heal.

Except hit will be useless when you hit cap and the crit damage/healing will always be useful.

It meant that you had to have 1 less hit rating to have a 100% hit chance. Now you’ll have a 99% hit chance if you don’t change your gearing at all. Oh no.
what hit cap is a shaman going to hit? none,
we are very dependant on that +hit
im pretty sure druid, same boat,
warrior, maybe hit capped but its not like they couldnt use it to find points in other areas. same with hunter.
enhance shaman already in this beta cant hit the broadside of a barn.

Yes… because reaching the hit cap at 60 with all the gear is so hard. Meanwhile you’ll probably be hit capped with 50%+ crit chance and all of a sudden that 2% crit damage is better than the flat 2% crit humans get and the only thing that can even compete is the 3% haste from Bluesky elves.

not sure what race you are speaking to, but tauren dont play rogue, crit chance is not a thing we go for.
but we ALL melee, +hit was a huge part of the trade off for being the first target in every pvp fight.
