We’re planning to take the WoW Forever Beta down in about 15 minutes, at 1:15 p.m. PDT.
This will be a maintenance period that includes deploying and testing a new build of the game, and that build has quite a few changes and fixes.
We’ll have a full update to the Development Notes for you when we get through the updating and the testing. See you on the other side!
they must have seen enough people are home for the day and online, time to patch!

we do not want SoD healer Arcane Blast as a dps spec.
they usually don’t give us patch notes until the servers are up unfortunately. it’s a wasted opportunity to give us something to argue about until we can get back in the game.
Likely because if they are launching the new build and run into issues, they may have to remove things. It’s easier to change patch notes BEFORE people read them. I know it’s frustrating for us players though.
Can you give us an estimate on how long the server will be down? You say it’s going down at 1:15pm today. But, you don’t give a time estimate of how long this maintenance could take. Is it 15 min? Is it 5 hours? Just a general estimate would be nice so we’re not all sitting waiting for it to come back up. Can you do that please?

There are fewer than 3 weeks until THE GAME LAUNCHES. There are SO many MASSIVE problems still. The last few patches have been extremely minor and not even remotely close to the breadth and scope of what I would expect.
The game needs work. A lot of work. It simply cannot launch how it is currently, it’s so, so far away from ready it’s astonishing.
