RP-PVP is a must! (Part 2)

The problem is its just not realistic.

When they got rid of PvP servers on retail and made it a toggle world PvP fell off a cliff. The reality is that the friction caused by a PvP server rule set often leads to a lot more world PvP. People had to make counter raids to hold off aggression which escalated and turned into Southshore vs Tarren Mill battles etc.

I like playing on a PvP server because I like the fact that the unpredictability and danger of it adds something to the game. I also understand its not for everyone. Hell one of the best thing about RP-PvP servers is that they are smaller, and you generally get to know people on the server. These megaservers kind of destroy the feel of the game at times, and the constant layering really screws with the big pvp battles, because it becomes less about who is winning, and more about who has half the raid suddenly vanish because of unexpected layering.

Also by forcing RP-PvP players into RP-PvE realms, thats not really fair to the PvE players, because they don’t really want the PvP aspect the PvP players want.

If they can afford to have RP servers, they can definitely afford to have RP-PvP servers. If I’m wrong they can just merge it like they did before. I mean its such an easy win for them to give the community what they want and if it fails they get to say “I told you so” and walk away.

Look how many dead retail and classic servers they are maintaining, I refuse to believe this is that unsupportable.
