I’m one of the few who never fully got into Classic back in 2019 and didn’t even play on Grobbulus, but I’ve been playing on and off since 2007. I was really hoping RP-PvP would be an option, based on all the Grobbulus and Emerald Dream stories I’ve read over the years.
The last time I took PvP seriously was back in Cata, but this time I’m really considering diving into it again, with RP in the mix. I’m not a super heavy roleplayer, but I do love the lore of WoW, and seeing others actively participate is a big motivator. I try to use lore-accurate names and do my best to fit in, at the very least.
Now, I really have no idea whether rolling RP or PvP is going to be the right answer. Classic gives off the vibe that PvP is the answer, and flagging just doesn’t seem to fit that style. I’m definitely confused at this point, and we’re just a few weeks away from making a decision that sounds like it has some permanence behind it, where changing would be quite a setback.
If there’s a miracle in the works before release, I hope putting my word in helps make it happen!
