The new patch just came out 48 hours ago.
It is filled with things that are bugged, broken, and being exploited.
Parts of the patch are timegated and not even available yet.
And you are posting about the new patch already…
Can we read the room and stop this 8 week nonsense? It is not healthy for the game nor is it earning you positive PR anymore.
I share your sentiment, but unfortunately, the post that was prescheduled a week ago by an unpaid intern cannot read the room.

This is stupid and quite frankly pissing me off.
With the Echoes of the Worldcore content update, players can earn two additional Motes of Omnial Inquiry, and two additional runes have been added:
- Rune of Empowerment
- Your Rune of Critical Power/Burning Haste/Masterful Cunning/Versatile Warrior grants 20% more of the stat.
- Rune of Critical Mass
- When your Core Rune (Rune of Void-Touched Orbs) deals damage or healing, it has a chance to call down 3 orbs that deal Void damage to enemies or restore health to allies within 5 yards.
- When your Core Rune (Rune of Unleashed Fire) deals damage or healing, it has a chance to blast the area, dealing Fire damage split among enemies or restoring health split among allies within 10 yards.
Yea. Not quite sure what is the goal but that doesn’t seem very interesting.

Transmog rewards? I love it when you add those because it means I can just skip it since you won’t let Dracthyr use the transmog system in their true form. Thank Blizzard! Definitely gonna save time by avoiding that content.
I don’t have much hope for the new mode but the pirate pvp thing surprised me so who knows. I don’t think this patch is doing well though if they want to hype up another day 3.
Really hope the timewalking decor is more in the realm of 100-200 badges a piece than over 1000 each.

Remember that void chick who corrupted the Sunwell and rode it down so she could merge with the World Soul?
I wonder what happened with her. We should probably look into that… right after I do more Delves and help the trolls with their basket weaving.
This is why I like FFXIV story telling more. We’d install a new expansion and do the entire campaign straight away. It was a much more fulfilling story because it was engaging and complete. Then once the danger had passed, we spent the rest of the expansion playing clean-up. We’d help other races with their basket weaving, rebuild what we destroyed, etc…
We didn’t watch a powerful god-like void being ride a void well to the center of the planet to merge with a World Soul that we ALL KNOW IS THERE and think… “Gee, I wonder if this will come back to bite us later… Oh well… what’s the worst that could happen?”
Just look at Cataclysm. Deathwing spent an entire year flying all over Azeroth breathing fire and destroying everything in his path yet did no actual damage to ANYTHING. Then finally a year later, it was suddenly a problem that needed our immediate concern.
And Blizzard actually chooses this kind of storytelling.
Great, can’t wait to sift through more buggy content just trying to play the game.

Yep. This is why Orc be going back for Evercold, and not worrying about retail again until prepatch. Honestly blizz is fumbling so hard right now i’d be amazed if many survive Asha’s chopping block.
