We’re taking the WoW Forever Beta offline in a few minutes for maintenance. We’re going to run some internal tests, and we don’t expect it to be down for more than a couple of hours.
Beta realms should go offline at 8:00 a.m. PDT.

Please let us know how long this will take. We don’t like being kept in the dark and y’all know it.
Might we know what kind of tests and such are being done? Is it to improve specific features and such, or is it more for improving the serverside aspect of Forever?

“A couple of hours” is not 2 hours. It could be anywhere from 2 to 6 to 10. That is not precise. That is what I’m asking for. So, I don’t care that they said “a couple of hours.” They should have a specific time it will take such as “2 or 3 hours.” That’s not much to ask for.
Hopefully they can finally fix the mailing issue with their “amazing” new surname feature…

I also refer to a group of people greater than 2, or even people within a polycule, as a “couple”. If I see only two people I refer to them as “not quite a couple.”
They are running internal tests. It will be back up when it is ready. You need to keep in mind that this is a product in testing.
That’s not how it works, ever consider they don’t know and that issues could arise? It’s beta, you’ll live big boy.

Yeah, if only they had said something like “We don’t expect it to take more than a couple of hours”. However, since I stoutly refuse to read their posts and choose to get outraged over as much as possible, I’ll never know what the post said.
