More Alliance Bias: Where is the Dalaran equivalent for the Horde?

Typical Aggrend with his noted Alliance bias, designing a whole new city for the Alliance and new world-wide transportation options for them while giving nothing to the Horde.

Just because Blizzard is trying to capture the magic of WoW Classic doesn’t mean they have to also capture 2004 Blizzard’s Alliance bias…

They said horde are getting something too in the works. Most would agree there was a horde bias at the start of WoW when it came to dungeons, racials, city bosses just to name a few…

But don’t worry it is coming and I hope they add alot more for both sides

They did build something for the Horde.

But since it was out of mud… the rain washed it away.

It’s documented that the Alliance zones were built earlier and had significantly more polish. Compare Stormwind to Org. LOL.

The Alliance also launched with a higher total number of quests and more complete storyline integration in the base game. Horde don’t have anything like the overarching Defias questline. They still don’t have anything like that in WoW: Forever.

Alliance players also had diverse leveling paths during early levels whereas a massive portion of Horde players were funneled into mindless kill quests in the Barrens.

I was definitely surprised to see how much they added to the alliance while almost nothing for the horde.

The bias sucks.

In the works. They’ve already confirmed as much.

Personally, I’m expecting a reclaimed Darkspear islands and darkspear troll capital. Either that or an ogre city in riverglades.

Maybe it’s on the way in an update we don’t know about?

I’ll take the extra dungeons, protect auction house/bank by elite mob boss NPC in org, the undeniably god tier racials that destroyed the pop balance in era in the beginning.

Things weren’t perfect but this intentional bias simply wasn’t there.

Typical Blizzard, everything for the Alliance gets done first and well (Stormwind), while the Horde get rushed trash (Orgrimmar).

you guys got the other half of silvermoon for your horde filth so fairs fair

Since they’ve already mentioned Quel’thalas, they might add Blood Elves which would give Horde Silvermoon.

Horde aren’t good architects, apparently. :dracthyr_shrug:

IDK what you got against horde cities. Orgrimmar is stunning at night with graphics turned up and TB is my favorite city

When Dalaran eventually floats away to northrend, you guys can have the hole it leaves behind.

You should feel right at home.

there was a list posted somewhere recently about a ton of the insane alliance bias, however it failed to include how blimp times from UC>ORG doubled (or more) in length, as well as some FP routes that instead of being a close, direct flight now take 4 jumps that are WAY out of the way!

I’m hoping the Earthen Ring’s base gets expanded into a proper city-like settlement with grand spectacle.

Would be cool if the Forsaken could steal Naxxramas somehow, though. I know that’s impossible, but that’d make for a pretty cool city too.

How long can a few sticks and some mud take to code though?

Id like to see the the ruins of lordaeron turned into a proper city extension for forsaken tbh. Unlikely since it’s a dungeon now but one can dream

Horde here: we dont need something just because the Alliance get it. Life aint fair. We will adapt.

For the Horde.

Alliance here: the horde deserves stuff too. This is a video game, not life. Demand better of the devs; it leads to a better game for everyone.

For the Alliance.
