I’m not seeing anyone else talk about this, so I’m posting to see if anyone else is experiencing this and bring attention to it.
For breaking slows, etc. I have a macro that reads
/use [form:1] !Bear Form
Usually I put all the other forms too, but right now I only have Bear Form and it’s enough to make this bug happen. There’s two parts to this bug
- If I use my macro, my main actionbar pages back to caster page, and doesn’t return to Bear page. As opposed to if I quickly cancelform and Bear Form immediately, it works fine.
- Usually, immediately after shifting you can /cancelform and exit form. No waiting. I’ve found if I use this macro, for a few seconds I can’t cancelform. It’s longer than a GCD, but I don’t have an exact time. Feels like nearly 3 seconds.
Interestingly, I have tried to use Bartender and Dominos custom paging functionality to overcome this, and neither worked. It almost seems like something behind the scenes of UI elements being able to see your form.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there some stupid thing I’m doing? I’m just doing stuff I was able to do in Era, so it seems it should work.
