I don’t see it posted in Known Issues and I’ve posted about it a few times. If you are in Cat Form and use the macro /cast !Cat Form, your Action Bar 1 will show as if you are not in a form. The same goes for Bear form. If you are in Cat Form and switch to Bear it works fine. Please please fix before Nov 4th!!
Yes I noticed this last night, it takes like a global to put the correct bar back.
Same in bear. Horrible for shifting to get out of snares as a tank.
Interesting, I just never get the bar back. Sits on caster form bar until I switch bear → cat or cat → bear.
I mean, that’s possible. I have always blanket covered it running macros with form conditionals.
So what I am seeing is the current form doesn’t even register awhile.
I have also seen that we dont have a stealth bar like im used to, I want that back
Druids never had a stealth bar (at least not in classic). You might be confusing it with Rogue.
It’s only the macro that breaks paging, double clicking always keeps paging in tact.
Another week gone by and this is still not fixed. Please at least acknowledge it is a bug and not intended!!
I think this bug has to do with Furor, even if you don’t have it. Some observations:
- Normally, you can enter form and immediately cancelform. When you macro bug, you can’t exit form for an amount of time. At first I thought it was a GCD, but it’s longer. If you have Furor, and you turn on Auras under floating combat text, you can see the
<Furor>and<Furor fades>and you’ll see that after the macro bug, the moment Furor fades is the moment you can cancelform. - If you install Bartender, and setup custom paging options, you can have your bar change pages based on a macro condition. So if page 1 is your caster bar and page 9 is your bear bar, you can use [form:1]9;1 to emulate the normal paging behavior for shifting. With this setup, your actionbar will still bug, but as soon as
<Furor fades>shows up, Bartender catches the form change and switches the page correctly.
I think there is code related to Furor remembering your energy, and evaluating whether you should or shouldn’t be regenerating it while out of cat form, and it’s somehow interacting poorly with how the quickshift macro works. I think it’s obfuscating what form you’re in to different parts of the game that need to be able to see it, such as action bars, addons, and macros. Just a thought.
