Mailbox bug

I have mail. When I click on the mailbox nothing happens.

Does anyone else have this issue or know of a work around so I can get my mail.

Yes, go to another mailbox - literally. Happens to me every other day, but if I walk to a different mailbox, I can access my mail. If I then walk back to the first mailbox it’s still bugged, though.

“Go to another mailbox”. Hard if your bank alt is in Thunder Bluff where there’s only one mailbox. This is intermittent but unbearable for something so simple.

Other mailbox or log off for a bit.

Layering ‘might’ fix it? But if my alt is in a neutral town with one mailbox I just leave it logged for a few hrs.

II haven’t had any of these mailbox bugs. Not sure what the cause is, but Ive seen people in chat talking about certain add ons causing mail problems’. Im currently running zero add ons.

… they’re not saying that as a permanent solution. It’s a workaround until it gets fixed.

The mail system is buggy as hell.

Examples:

  • send mail takes up to 2 min
  • receiving mail from auction house randomly loses money or I get “Internal mailbox error”
  • Mailboxes sometimes don’t work

This is happening to me right now in Brill. Also I can not use the smelter. I have 5 copper ore in my bag, but the “smelt copper” button is greyed out and I’m standing right at the smelter.

Also, asking in General-Tirisfall Glades chat is getting me no answers from anyone, so I’m actually wondering if that’s broken and people can’t see me asking, or if they’re just being generally unhelpful today.

Walked away, logged off
Logged in, walked back…now it works.

Yeah, that’s unlucky. It seems they’ve actually added additional mailboxes around Org (or maybe I just don’t remember them being there). Of course, I’ve only noticed it on my bank alt - my main and other alts only go into the cities for training, etc.

Yup, haven’t been able to send mail for a few days now.
Correct name, correct items; it will loop the send however it won’t mail BUT I will lose the mail cost. So I’m just progressively bleeding coin for no mail IG XD

This has been driving me nuts and the solution was just to run to the next mailbox. Thank you for posting!

You’re welcome. And, wouldn’t you know, I just hopped onto my bank alt and yes, it’s still broken…
