Josh Greenfield announces that dungeon experience from kills is being increased by 20%
Wait, is that a typo?
20%? Surely you meant 200%, right?
After absolutely gutting dungeon mob XP, we’re supposed to celebrate getting 20% of practically nothing back?
That’s like taking $100 out of someone’s wallet, handing them $1 back, and expecting a thank-you.
At this point, a 200% increase would be more in line with what dungeon leveling actually needs.
*After 80% XP nerf, a 200% increase will still considered as a 40% nerf compare to Vanilla*
But hey, thanks for the generosity, Blizzard. I guess we should be grateful we’re getting XP at all.

For a moment I thought “hey this might be a real, positive post from someone who gets it!”

They also fixed the xp to be based off of your character and not the highest person in the dungeon so it might still be decent we will have to see.
20xp per mob to whopping 24xp!
HUGE!

Even with 200% exp increase, it is still 40% nerf on the mob exp comparing with vanilla.

Someone doesnt know what 20% is. lol.
And as they blue said, its to align dungeon XP with quest leveling. What more do you want…Well, other than dungeon spam being the fastest way to level, lol.
He said that prior to this patch a group of players XP gain was determined by the Highest level player. This means a low level player would get almost NO XP due to a higher level player in the dungeon group.
Now though, the XP is determined individually by the player level and will no longer be brought down by having a higher level player in your group. That is much much more XP plus it is getting buffed by 20%.
Hope that helps. Cheers
I had my previous LVL17 toon running Deadmines with 17/18/18/18/20 team for 18-20XP.
I will run again tonight to see how many xp I get after patch.
