Both the talent Unleashed Fury (pet dmg +15%) and Ferocity (10% pet Crit) seem to have no effect whatsoever on my pet’s damage.
Tried killing numerous spiders all lv 27 with only my pet with no buffs on myself. My cats avg dps was 33 both without the talent and with the talents.
Human hunter lv 28.
That’s a great catch, and you did good reproduction steps.
Include that in your bug report.
There’s a few thing I did not test. I only used a cat, i didn’t test any other pets. It’s possible the cat attack speed buff (which still needs to be normalized) may be disabling these talents . I also didn’t test dps with abilities on. I turned off bite and claw for this test so i could just check pet auto attack dmg. These talents were definately having no effect on my cats autos.
As things are right now its seems BM is a worthless spec. I went MM and my damage pretty much doubled. Hopefully they will fix this.
