Hunter multiple stings, bug or intended?

I am able to have multiple serpent stings or any combination of various stings out on multiple different targets at the same time.

The rule of one sting per hunter out at any one time, is not applying.

The assumption is that this is a bug. Or is this an intended undocumented change?

Do the tooltips actually say that there is a restriction of one Sting per target? If so it is definitely a bug and you should report it

Are you able to apply more than one sting per individual target, such as having Scorpid and Serpent Sting active on the same target?

If so, that’s a bug.

If you’re asking if you can put Serpent Sting on multiple targets, that is indeed intended.

No, only one sting per individual target.

However, the tooltip clearly says “only ONE sting per Hunter can be active, on ANY ONE target”.

and If i recall in the past it operated as so.

Don’t get me wrong. I think this is a good change if so. Allows more counter play to multiple targets in PvP, and a rotation change to multiple targets in PvE. Brings more flavor to the class. I hope it sticks, but seems like a bug entirely.

The sting damage itself is fairly minor, even with changes to AP scaling for stings. Not really game breaking or class breaking.

This isn’t a change. It’s always been one sting on any one target. 1 per target.

In vanilla AVs you could often change the course of mid stalemates by maintaining viper stings on all the enemy casters (focusing healers of course).

You should send some feedback about it so they change “on any one target” to “per target” to make it less confusing
